2026 MEET STATS: 78 - 260 / $549.16 (+$29.16) BEST BETS: 17 - 27 / $56.72 (+$2.72) SPOT PLAYS: 7 - 27 / $98.74 (+$44.74) BEST BET - WISHUPONASTAR DEO (6th) SPOT PLAY - FLEX UP (8th) Race 1 - 15000CLM Pace (7) SHINE A LIGHT has been unbeatable in this class since early March, and while this is the worst post he's had in a while, I don't think it's going to be an issue for him. (2) MR PROFETA won in his second chance at this level last Wednesday and was Yannick Gingras's choice. (1) BETTORBUCKLEUP also comes in off a victory and slides in from post three to the pole position. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - John Brennan Series Consolation Trot (2) PIERRE IN PARIS changes trainers to Ron Burke tonight and I'll look that to result in some improvement from the pole position and with co-owner Gingras in the bike. (6) COMMODUS A drew poorly but comes in with back-to-back runner-up results for the leading driver/trainer combination. (4) EXQUISITE TASTE hit the board in leg two and three of the series and was third in the same race that COMMODUS A exits from last week. Race 3 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (2) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL tallied handily two back against $20,000 claimers, and I can overlook her poor result last week as she had the eight-hole. She moves back in on the gate to post two tonight. (5) STONECOLD GIRL was one of the top horses at this level not all that long ago and makes her third appearance for a high-percentage stable tonight. (7) MC ANGEL closed from last to third in the back-half of her mile a week ago but is compromised by another poor draw here. Race 4 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races LT or 90000LT / Winners of over 7 PM Races LT Draw Outside Trot (3) MANFORCE raced well in this class a couple of times back in February and March, and I'll give him a shot here as he returns from Pocono off a difficult trip and gets reunited with Brent Holland. (6) KARINCHAK didn't appear to have much excuse for getting overtaken at 1-9 a week ago but is clearly one of the contenders here given his form and early speed. (4) KAYS IN CHARGE knocked off KARINCHAK in that event last Wednesday and races for the leading driver/trainer tandem. Race 5 - F&M Winners of 1 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW2 or 30000LT Draw Inside Pace (3) MAGGIE Q N gained spots in a third-place effort against NW2s at Yonkers on April 1 and returns off a victory against NW1 foes at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently. (7) ALWAYSBPUFFING IR is sharp with six on-the-board finishes in her last seven outings and just missed by a neck from this post last week. (5) SEND IT DOWN SLIM hasn't won yet in 2026 but has been in the trifecta in five of her seven tries, including a third in the same event ALWAYSBPUFFING IR exits. Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (1) WISHUPONASTAR DEO downed NW4 competition at Pocono to start her 3YO campaign and appears to be the one to beat in this event as well from the pole position. (2) MARIN COUNTY prevailed at this level a couple weeks ago and slides in on the gate from the five-hole to post two. (4) NET WEIGHT has hit the board in five of his seven starts thus far in 2026 and gets a driver switch to Jordan Stratton here. Race 7 - John Brennan Series Final Trot (1) ALWAYS A STORY scored in leg one and then closed well from outside posts in the subsequent rounds. Tonight she landed the pole position, a big advantage over the other logical-looking ones, and I'll give her top call. (4) KAZIO DK broke in the opening leg but rebounded with handy victories after that and is a definite contender again as long as he minds his p's and q's. (7) TOP GUN HANOVER skipped the final two rounds after he won back on 4-1. He's been tough to beat dating back to late last year except for the one miscue on 3-25. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - NW2 PM Races or 44296LT / NW30000LT Draw Inside Trot (3) FLEX UP hasn't won yet in his career but exits the Weiss Series where he gained a couple of spots in his last try on 4-13 and has added Lasix for his 3YO campaign. (6) SHOESTRINGS posted a couple of victories in her rookie season and returns to action off one successful qualifier at Pinehurst Training Center in North Carolina. (2) LIFE IS GREAT had some traffic issues in a fifth-placed-fourth effort last Wednesday. She gets post relief here and was Gingras's choice. Race 9 - 20000CLM Pace (2) SHAKE IT moves in on the gate from the eight-hole to post two this week and shows four recent on-the-board efforts at this level, including victories on 2-25 and 3-4. (3) LOU'S BEACH had traffic issues last week and wound up getting placed back from second to eighth after he bothered a rival. He kept Gingras in the bike here and races for a high-percentage stable. (4) TONTO RETURNS tired in the lane a couple weeks ago but did defeat $20,000 claimers prior to that. I'll use underneath.
