2026 MEET STATS: 62 - 203 / $423.28 (+$17.28) BEST BETS: 15 - 21 / $50.76 (+$8.76) SPOT PLAYS: 6 - 21 / $69.36 (+$27.36) BEST BET - SEND IT DOWN SLIM (7th) SPOT PLAY - COMMODUS A (5th) Race 1 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (2) QUICK MENU doesn't have any victories thus far in 2026 but has been knocking on the door for a bit. Hopefully she can kick it down tonight as she gets post relief and another chance with Tyler Buter in the bike. (1) IDEAL SKIES has finished second in back-to-back starts since she returned to this class, starts from post one and gets a driver switch to Austin Siegelman. (8) DISARONNO HILL will have to overcome the eight-hole but races out of a high-percentage stable and has leading driver Jason Bartlett in the bike. I have to believe she'll be put in play. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 20000CLM Pace (8) WHY TOMORROW RAY is stuck out in the eight-hole but is now in the hottest stable at the track off a claim, and I'm going to bank on him being sent out of there but Yannick Gingras. His form in the age-restricted $20,000 and $30,000 claimers hasn't been bad either as he's hit the board in three straight tries. (3) SETH HANOVER tired on the front-end on 3-18 but was claimed by a high-percentage stable and gets to partner with Bartlett. (1) TONTO RETURNS wasn't Bartlett's choice but is being sent out by the leading trainer. He moves in from the eight-hole to the pole position with class relief to go with it. Race 3 - 30000CLM Pace (5) ALTA CLASSIC A has suffered three straight tough beats as he's lost by two heads and a nose after cutting the mile each time. He joins a high-percentage stable off a claim and Colin Kelly takes over the driving. (4) OVERTHINKING got the nod from Bartlett over my top selection and rallied to beat ALTA CLASSIC A by a nostril a week ago. (1) TRENDY TEEN steps up a notch on the ladder but does so off a romping victory against $25,000 claimers and moves in from post five to the pole position. Race 4 - 25000CLM Pace (1) JO PA'S WARRIOR starts from the pole position again and has the same trainer change as my top pick back in race two after being claimed last Wednesday. Gingras also takes over the driving. (2) QUOTE ME NOT N drops a notch and slides in from post five to the two-hole for the leading driver/trainer combo. (3) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N tallied against $25,000 claimers the last time he drew inside on March 11 and teams up with Siegelman again. Race 5 - John Brennan Series Leg #1 Trot (2) COMMODUS A gained ground in his most recent start over at Pocono and makes his second start on Lasix. This horse was a Group 1 winner in Australia, so he's got plenty of class. (1) PIERRE IN PARIS was fourth-placed-third in one appearance at Yonkers on March 11 and returns off a victory at Dover. Co-owner Gingras takes back over the driving. (7) EXQUISITE TASTE has been hampered by a lot of bad posts lately but did tally handily a week ago when she had the pole position. Race 6 - John Brennan Series Leg #1 Trot (3) BELMONDO tired last time out at Pocono but raced well there and at Yonkers prior to that and gets significant post relief. He also races out of that same red-hot stable I already mentioned in Races 2 and 4. (2) ALWAYS A STORY finished a solid second against NW15000L5 foes on Friday night (March 27) and moves in from the six-hole to post two. (4) ZENMEISTER S won both of his appearances at Yonkers in February and qualified well at Pocono last week. Race 7 - F&M NW2 PM Races or 30000LT Pace (6) SEND IT DOWN SLIM faces what looks to be a softer group than she has since she returned to action, and I anticipate she'll be sent out of there and put in play. (4) AMERICAN CHEESE qualified well both times at Pocono and while she didn't win as a freshman, she did have a good enough season to make her New York Sire Stakes final. (3) MARTINI STAR is just one-for-25 in the win column during her career, but she hit the board in both of her appearances at this level in March. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (1) SEVEN LAYER tallied both times he raced in this class on 2-25 and 3-4 and gets to drop a notch tonight while he shifts back inside to the pole position. (2) SEISMIC STEP worked his way to the top past the quarter from the eight-hole on March 18 and went on to post a second-place finish. He gets significant post relief here and shows a victory at this level back in early December. (5) MARIN COUNTY gained spots and ground in a runner-up effort a week ago and has shown the ability to win in this class before. Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace (7) HEAVE AWAY takes a second crack at this level tonight and hopefully can put forth a better effort than he did last Monday when he was fifth. He shows a third against tougher $25,000 claimers as recently as 2-25, so he is capable at his best. (5) JACK'S LEGEND N woke up with an improved performance in a runner-up effort in the same race my top selection exits and gets to partner with Dan Dube again. (3) MAJOR POCKET A moves in from the eight-hole to post three and shows a victory against $15,000 claiming company on February 18.
