FINAL 2025 MEET STATS: 440 - 1395 / $2,521.12 (-$266.88) BEST BETS: 73 - 134 / $242.38 (-$25.62) BEST BET: THENU CAME ALONG A (9th) SPOT PLAY: BET ON BIG JOE (7th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (1) UNCONTROLLED has been competitive recently at the $25K claiming level having hit the board in five of six races so the drop to $20's and the rail draw can get her over the top. (3) STONECOLD GIRL won last week off the bench for Bartlett/Dilloian and she stays at the winning level; logical chalk. (2) NITE TIME DEAL stayed active during the Yonkers break across the river and her last one was good; gets Brennan for her local return. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (1) IDEALINFUN rallied well in her 2026 debut and though she lacks the early speed of others her rail draw should keep her in the top three or four; could be freshest late. (3) YS SENSATIONALCITY is back up to $50's off the claim by the Watson barn and it's possible she can be loose on the lead here. Classy mare has beaten this type in the past. (4) MACHS LEGACY A is a proven commodity at these upper claiming levels. Race 3: F&M $30,000 Claiming Pace (5) BRI EXPRESS N dropped in for the $30K tag last week by the Engblom barn and she wired the field easily from the rail; mare stays at the winning level and figures to be heading to the front again. (4) IDEAL SKIES figures to be more involved with the improved post and smaller field. (3) CREME DELIGHT has historically been tough to use on top but she picks up a share most starts and should be able to do the same here. Race 4: 2-5YO Winners of 5-7 races or $90,000 LT Pace (2) ODDS ON NO LIMIT is lightly raced but clearly has talent as evidenced by his performance in the Messenger last year. Alexander trainee won easily in his 4YO debut and looks to have more to offer. (1) DREAM BIRD had some pace last week and now is back at the NW lifetime classes for Burke; not much of a record the last year or so but he's reunited with Yannick and draws best. (3) LOCHLAN HANOVER has been on a tear out of town and hit the board in six of nine here last season. Could be overbet getting Bartlett coming off that 1:50 3/5 mile. Race 5: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (3) RACIN FOR ROYALTY likely needed last week's start more than others and can move forward off that effort. Laterza trainee will offer a price in this competitive field and is capable with a trip. (2) NUTTINBUTHEBEST was outbattled in her 2026 debut and she'll be right there again. (5) BOUT DAMN TIME A returns from The Meadowlands and had been competitive in prior Yonkers races at this level; returns to Stratton in the bike for his brother. Race 6: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (2) DISTANT LOVER has been very sharp and stays at the same level off the Laterza claim, and as mentioned in the past this barn has done very well over the last couple of years playing the claiming game. Mare won for this barn back in October. (3) STORMY SERENA is another sharp one changing hands as she goes to Adamczyk and goes for four straight. (1) TOABGO TIME has tailed off a bit recently but does drop from $30's to $25's. Race 7: NW20986 in last 5 starts Pace (3) BET ON BIG JOE returns locally for Burke and Gingras has won his last three starts with this guy. He's a major threat to hit the front and wire these. (4) DELE ROW A switched to Bartlett upon arrival and grabbed his first North American win. Steps up with potentially more to offer. (2) JOEMIKIYOURSOFINE was ready to go off the holiday break for the Choate barn and looks to repeat up in class a notch. Race 8: 3-6YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (6) BETTOR NOT picks up Bartlett, who was also listed on an Engblom trainee (#2) that appears to be one of the contenders, but he chooses this Mark Ford trainee...interesting. I'll take the bait and use him on top. (4) TIP OF TIME was decent in his last two Med tries and ships back here for Lachance; goes third-time Lasix. (2) THIS JK ROCKS trailed with little to offer last out on the big track but won here from a similar spot three back. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) THENU CAME ALONG A not only gets class and post relief but the Blackler trainee returns to Bartlett, who was in the bike for his first couple of starts after arriving from Down Under, and they were good efforts facing better. Short price but looks much the best. (5) GENTLE GIANT also drops and returns to Kelly, could be a price option. (3) TEN TOTHE DOZEN A is much better than last week's start would indicate. Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (3) POP IT had a less-than-ideal trip in his 2026 debut but his last start in December was a solid win when down a notch in class. Kakaley may have a clear path to the front tonight. (1) PRINTVILLE doesn't seem to win as often as he should but looms a big player from this spot. (6) MAJORCROWDCONTOL A added Lasix for his seasonal debut then couldn't sustain his bid into the rated pace. He's back to the leading driver looking to earn his first North American win. Race 11: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace (7) PEACE OUT POSSE needs some help from out here but he closed with plenty last out at The Big M in a needed start and he was a six-figure earner here in 2025. Stratton is back driving for his brother and will be a price in a shaky field. (4) LONG SHOT BUCKETS makes his second local start for new connections and the 4YO could show a bit more. (5) CAVIART SARGENT and (1) THONG CONTROL are the most logical ones in here having faced better when last seen locally but neither is worth the anticipated short price.
