2026 MEET STATS: 85 - 296 / $606.28 (+$14.28) BEST BETS: 19 - 31 / $61.68 (-$0.32) SPOT PLAYS: 8 - 31 / $108.62 (+$46.62) BEST BET - MISSISSIPPI STORM (6th) SPOT PLAY - CAL MILES N SHELL (7th) Race 1 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) ANDRA DAY hasn't been seen in a pari-mutuel race in over three years but did qualify back well at Yonkers on 4-17 for a high-percentage stable and was Colin Kelly's choice of a pair. (2) IDEAL SKIES won at this level on April 1 and moves inside on the gate from the six-hole to post two. (6) STONECOLD GIRL was one of the top horses in this class not all that long ago and gets a chance to partner with Yannick Gingras. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NAADA Spring Series Leg #7 Trot (7) WINDSONG PIONEER drew poorly again but was driven aggressively and just missed the last time he raced in an amateur race on 4-2. I'm going to hope similar tactics are employed here and that he finishes one spot better than he did that time. (1) BIG CHARLIE MORAN doesn't win often but has hit the board in four straight outings and starts from the pole position. (4) KILIMANJARO NL finished second and third in legs one and two of this series at Yonkers last month and also posted a third most recently at Monticello. He gets reunited with driver Joe Lee tonight. Race 3 - 25000CLM Pace (3) THONG CONTROL drops and moves inside on the gate after he took on $40,000 claiming foes in his last try on April 13. (5) BONNIPRINCLOUIS N didn't threaten from the eight-hole last week but moves in on the gate tonight and gets a driver switch to Gingras, too. He won in this class on 4-16 and has hit the board in five of his last seven outings overall. (8) THEFLYINGROCK will have to overcome the eight-hole but is in sharp form, including a victory at this level on the 8th of April and has been re-claimed by the high-percentage stable he won out of that night. Race 4 - NAADA Spring Series Leg #7 Trot (4) NICCOLO didn't make much of an impact at Yonkers in a couple of tries in March but comes back off a victory at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently, and that sticks out against a field that's struggled to win lately. (5) ALL TOO WELL has been facing tougher foes at Yonkers since he returned to action and this stable often sends out live horses in these amateur races. (3) MUSCLE SPASM returns off a runner-up result at Monticello on April 22 and has shown the ability to hit the board in overnight races at both the Meadowlands at Yonkers in his recent lines. Race 5 - 40000CLM Trot (3) JAS BLUESTONE broke on the lead last week but won handily prior to that against $40,000 claimers. More importantly to me is he's back in the stable that he won out of on April 16. (5) WHEELZABLAZIN has four wins and a second in six outings since he started racing in this class and has shown the ability to prevail both on the front-end and from off-the-pace. (2) QUALITY KID turned in an improved effort for the leading stable a week ago and gets reunited with Jason Bartlett from another inside post. Race 6 - NW20000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (3) MISSISSIPPI STORM drops out of the top class both here and over at the Meadowlands, and I'll look for him to take advantage of the relief. (4) P L OSCAR finished second at this level on 4-9 and 4-16 and gets a driver switch to Joe Bongiorno this time. (1) KASHA V slides in from the seven-hole to the pole position and was Austin Siegelman's choice over P L OSCAR and another horse in this race. Race 7 - 40000CLM Trot (1) CAL MILES N SHELL moves in from post seven to the pole position in his second try against $40,000 claiming company and gets to team up with Brent Holland for the first time since they won together on 3-6. (3) CHULO won a couple times at this level in March for the leading driver/trainer combo and rallied to collect a runner-up finish a week ago. (4) SKY BOX led a long way before he wound up third in the same event CHULO exits and gets reunited with Kelly for a high-percentage stable. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - F&M Invitational Trot (6) GLUTES HANOVER enters this race with three straight victories in this class, and she's got plenty of early speed to overcome this outside draw. (5) BRAVO ANGEL S took the Invitational a couple of weeks ago and is very capable of winning tonight as well, but her lack of early speed does mean she'll need the right kind of trip and pace. (2) HOT FLASH KIMMY owns a win at this level back on 3-19 and closed well in a third-place result last Thursday. She's also got a post advantage on the other logical-looking ones in here. Race 9 - NW20991L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW11 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (3) DRIBBLING BI has missed some time due to a sick scratch on 4-16 but won handily over NW15000L5s prior to that and has plenty of recent experience racing at the top level. (1) KARINCHAK steps up the ladder tonight but has been very sharp thus far in 2026 and moves in from post six to the pole position. (5) SECURITY PROTECTED gets to drop despite winning the Invitational last week as he has 10 lifetime pari-mutuel victories. He seems to do his best work from off-the-pace but did post a third on the engine on April 16.
