FINAL 2025 MEET STATS: 440 - 1395 / $2,521.12 (-$266.88) BEST BETS: 73 - 134 / $242.38 (-$25.62) BEST BET: WHATS STANLEY GOT A (9th) SPOT PLAY: MOSSDALE BEN N (7th) Race 1: $15,000 Claiming Pace (2) TIN ROOF RAIDER A was a two-move winner from the seven hole last week, coming off the month-long layoff. Loses Bartlett, gains Gingras, moves inside, can repeat. (4) SPINDOCTOR HANOVER returns locally for Engblom/Bartlett without a ton of current form and he was an 0-fer here last year; use caution. (7) MAJOR POCKET A has the early speed to get into play if regular driver Colin Kelly desires. He's more than capable of beating these if not too roughed up. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW7820 in last 5 starts Pace (2) GALANTE A has never done particularly well at Yonkers but his last two at The Meadowlands with Beckwith driving were much improved and he's here tonight listed again. (4) ESCAPE TO AMERICA gets a driver change to Gingras and also major post relief after touring the track from post eight in his 2026 debut; he will be much more involved tonight. (5) I AMA ROCKET backed up badly in his debut for the Alexander barn but the Rideau shipper was off over six weeks prior to that race and he plunges in class tonight looking to show more. Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace (1) ITALIAN LAD N was outbattled last week and had to settle for second; Adamczyk trainee seems destined to cut the mile again with a legit chance to get it done. (3) CUT N RUN N wasn't bad in his local return when he rallied for third behind the top choice and he moves in a couple of spots on the gate. (6) JUST ENUFF STUFF gets a driver upgrade to Bartlett in his local return but he faces better than he's been accustomed to. From this post he may be on the outside looking in. Race 4: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace (1) PERFECT PROMISES gets major post relief as he moves to the rail and Bartlett won with this guy back in December when he wired the field. This feels like a good spot to yield to early speed, retake and control these. (5) WARRIOR FOR TRUTH is back with the DiDomenico barn via claim where he spent a brief time last year and he remains at the right level; big player. (7) WHY TOMORROW RAY is proven with this type and does have some early speed. Maybe Holland can take a shot off the gate at a big price. Race 5: NW10521 in last 5 starts Pace (4) HIMSELF N was a 1/9 winner the last time he was at this NW10000 base level and he raced well in defeat facing better in his last couple; Lance Hudson trainee is clearly the one to beat. (5) IMA PERFECT CHOICE began life as a 4YO last week after a solid sophomore campaign and was a good second; drawing outside the top choice may limit his chances. (3) HAZEVILLE could not last at odds-on last week; price goes up tonight. Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) AMMO returns to Yonkers for the Burke barn and picks up Gingras; he's beaten better than these in the past and was 10 for 17 first or second here last year. (5) FASTING may appreciate the smaller track after flashing good speed recently at The Big M. (3) YOROKOBI N never wins but he often follows along and hits the board. Could pick up a piece at a big price. Race 7: NW33161 in last 5 starts Pace (1) MOSSDALE BEN N likely needed last week's start where he finished well but was predictably too far back. Is he ready to fire his best shot in his second start of the season? Sure, why not. (7) LOU HILL has been super since joining the Engblom barn and I doubt Bartlett will be content getting away last. (4) SOHO DOW JONES A steps back up a class after a nice trip-sitting win. Race 8: NW16681 in last 5 starts Pace (1) AMERICAN DEALER N failed to convert in his last two across the river but it's hard to see him not coming through here in this very live spot. (2) CURLY JAMES A drops for Engblom and returns to Bartlett. (5) HELLABALOU had no response in his seasonal debut but the Burke millionaire has got to be better than that. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) WHATS STANLEY GOT A was a bit short in his first start after being off a month and he was collared by an equally classy rival; veteran gets another crack from the rail in what may be a bit softer competition. (5) MUSIC HALL is a proven speedster from a spot where Beckwith can leave the gate; main threat. (3) HEZ ALLTHE RAGE N made $100K in half a 2025 season and he qualified nicely after the six month break; he's a legit talent who could be ready to move forward in his first off the bench. Race 10: $15,000 Claiming Pace (2) BLACK HAWK JOE A finished crisply in his first start off the winter hiatus and seems to have now found a home at this reduced level; veteran just needs a clean trip. (1) CHECKONWILLIAM GB has been coming up a bit short recently but still is a very logical player. (3) ULYSSES and (4) SAWYER'S DESIRE are both returning locally with class relief but both have zero form; tough to like but tough to toss as well.
