TROPICAL CYCLONE (NW1FM) three-move winners are always worth a long look in next.

MA DIVA (NW1FM) tucked, raced second over to tiring cover and closed well to be second best at 33-1 to the three-move winner mentioned above and should not be overlooked.

PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE (POPUP) had another just missed in Leg 2 and should be considered a threat again.

WASSAIL BLUE CHIP (NW6000FM) rallied late from the back and could pull off the mild surprise with better trip.

CODE CRACKER (POPUP) wired the field as the odds-on favorite and will give it another solid effort.

MYSTIC (NW2500) veteran trotter trailed to the lane, rallied wide, late and strong to win going away passing all his foes.

Saturday, January 31

HIRO HANOVER (NW1) broke before and after the start, settled, rallied to the third panel, wheeled wide, closed strongly and just missed after the costly break.

JACK PANIC (NW16250) tucked, improved to the pocket headstretch, closed well and was second on the wire.

BEACHIN LINDY (NW2500) was invisible to the lane, rallied wide and put up a :26 4/5 last panel to earn a long look in next race or two.

RBSTENACIOUS T (SNOWSHOE) went down the road and was easily best under some late urging but should take home some more dough.

JORDY N (NW9000) yielded twice, tipped second over heading home as the leader weakened, rallied strongest and proved to be a three-move winner.

Sunday, February 1

ANNAS WISH (CLM8000FM) went down the road, tired, drifted and was nailed in the late stages over a track that rough on front-steppers. Beaten favorite can atone with more favorable conditions.

HAZEE COAST (POPUP) brushed to the lead by the half and was an impressive front-end winner over the tiring track.

BELLA CAVALLA (NW6000) trotter rallied a long way on the rim and finished with good trot to earn a long look in next race or two.

DEVILS ARCH (NW15500) sat pocket, cut the corner heading home too close, went inside a pylon or two, rallied all out to be second best but was taken down and placed third.

MADAM X (POPUP) wired the field and was on own through the lane.

SOUTHWIND DOMINO (NW2500) went to the lead at 13-1, set the pace under pressure for the mile from the odds-on favorite, put that one away but was nailed by the late closing second over second favorite.

Monday, February 2

JAYPORT CASH (NW3) left well, took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, tipped third over late in the final turn, rallied gamely and was second best.

SOUTHWIND MANHATTN (NW1) was used hard to the lead as the lukewarm favorite and won impressively.

VOLCANIC (CLM20000) tucked early, pulled to the half, challenged the odds-on pacesetter all the way and outgamed him on the wire.

BETTOR BEAST (CLM20000) left to the lead, yielded, pulled at the third panel and was a going-away winner. Got claimed and is the one to beat in next.

CRAZIN PARTY BOY (CLM20000) was out the final turn, chased the top one and was second best on the board and on the track.
