Top Pick Stats: 41/129 (-$49.60) Best Bets: 4/11 (-$6.10); Spot Plays: 6/12 ($10.70) Best Bet: THE TULSA KING (Race 8) Spot Play: GINGER TREE FINNY (Race 6) Early Pick-5: 1,6/1,2/4,8/6,7/3,8   $6.40 Late Pick-5: 1,8/5,9/4,5/3,5/2,4   $6.40 Race 1: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (6) CARDINAL CREED showed enough in his only qualifier on a snowy track. I’ll look for him to step forward on debut from a good post. (1) CORONA SEELSTER is logical when dropping from the series, but has been far from his best, and still hasn’t broken his maiden. Money will find him. (10) P L TACO looked ready to debut after a decent qualifier, but was one of many horses who were scratched due to the weather that night. He might get a patient drive from the high draw. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW $16,250 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $28,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $70,000. AE: NW $100,000 LIFETIME. (1) GET WINGS was a sharp winner last week after being locked in with pace two starts ago. I’ll give him the nod to come right back. (2) MIRACULOUS DESBI N drops from the Open where he got a check. Hard to overlook him, but he has torched money since the qualifier. (4) JACK PANIC got back to his winning ways when dropping in class. Post relief should make him an early pace presence. Race 3: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000. (8) EARLY ACTION just got picked off after a speed try. I’ll look for similar tactics to be used off the claim. (4) HF PANS SHADOW has won three of his last five races and continues to show staying power after a grinding trip. He is extremely logical again. (3) VERTICAL SQUIRT got a beautiful setup in front of him after a wicked half. He looked good in what was his first start since late November. Race 4: NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $8,000 LAST 8 STARTS. (7) LOGAN BEHOLD has been grinding out okay finishes against tougher horses. He could be set for a speed try off the drop in class at a good price. (6) CENTURY INSPECTOR has shown more than enough gate speed to get into a stalking spot. He has trouble finishing races, but could be set to trip out from up close. We know what (3) SOARING NOW is capable of, but his return qualifier did not inspire confidence. This is a class that he hasn’t seen in years, but I can’t pull the trigger right away. Race 5: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES FINAL: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FILLIES & MARES IN 2026. NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2025. (8) KOBRA KATE has shown more in the series and took advantage of the ML favorite being scratched last week. She has the versatility to work out a winning trip from anywhere. (3) D A MISS UNIVERSE has done little wrong in her young career and paced a big final quarter last week. She should be in a contending spot when they turn for home. (9) LETS N JOY N is 2-for-2 since shipping from down under and is another mare who has versatility. She will need to work out a trip from an outside post, however. Race 6: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. (8) GINGER TREE FINNY continues to draw poorly, but I thought he was a decent third after making two moves. He should be forwardly placed again; I’ll look for McNair to work out a trip. (1) RIPASSO got a perfect tightener in his first start in a month. His off the pace style should suit him when leaving from the rail. (4) JORDY N was a strong second behind the class-dropping Jack Panic. He is another shipper who has done little wrong in his time in Canada. Race 7: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $60,000 (OS $88,000) LIFETIME. AE: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER OPT. CLM. $60,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (5) MAGICAL BET produced an upset win last week when racing from the back. His two efforts since the qualifier have been very good. (9) ERINWOOD BIG MACK is another coming into this race with extremely sharp form, but he has to work out a trip from the high draw. (2) DUSTY LANE LEVI didn’t get his kind of trip last week, and was unable to make his grinding move work. He is much better when positioned near the lead. Race 8: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES FINAL: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS IN 2026. NW OF 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2025. (4) THE TULSA KING was a transportation scratch last week after he rode a pocket trip to victory in leg one of this series. He draws well and should provide better value this time around. (5) RBSTENACIOUS T looks for the series sweep and draws a perfect post to do so. He has won four of his last five races. (1) BOOKER SEELSTER took advantage of a shorter field last week and cruised as the heaviest of favorites. I think he is just a step behind the top two. Race 9: OPEN. (3) BLUE HUNT nearly pulled off a big upset in last week’s Open. He has been racing well at the top level and looks primed for a win tonight. (5) DUBLIN DASHER gets a fair shot at the Open after successfully paying $30 last week. He has been better when up close and could trip out. (6) TAURASI has not been at his best lately, but we know what he is capable of. I’ll use him underneath tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $40,000 LIFETIME. AE: NW $2,750 LAST 6 STARTS. (2) ALL BETS ON GARY was moving best of all in the late stages last week and finished a strong second. Any kind of trip likely sees him get his picture taken. (4) TWIN B ALLIANCE has been extremely sharp off the bench and has made his middle moves stick with much success. He is hard to look past. (3) CONVOY TWENTY TWO was better in his second start back and has the advantage of a shorter field that doesn’t show too much gate speed. Race 11: HORSES & GELDINGS CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $5,000 LAST 4 STARTS. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (4) TITANIC HANOVER made his presence felt in his first start around the Mohawk oval. He should step forward this week when racing off the claim; I’ll give him the nod. (2) THUMANN comes off two solid wins at the same level in London, and Brady Galliers has really been holding his own since becoming a regular part of the driving colony. (8) DARRELL was a sharp winner in his latest after a first over move. He will need to be put in play if he wants to have a shot to hit the ticket, in my opinion.
