Top Pick Stats: 41/129 (-$49.60) Best Bets: 4/11 (-$6.10); Spot Plays: 6/12 ($10.70) Best Bet: WHATCHULOOKIN AT (Race 5) Spot Play: GET WINGS (Race 10) Early Pick-5: 6,8,10/1,5/2,5/4,6/2   $4.80 Middle Pick-5: 1,5/2,7/2,5/3,7/6   $3.20 Late Pick-5: 2,5,8/3,7/6/6/2,4,5   $3.60 Race 1: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (6) CONTINUUM was a strong winner in his second morning prep with minimal urging from Boyd. He looks to be a colt that will continue to improve. (10) SAUBLE AMBUSH was closing well in his lone qualifier. The post is a concern if you think McClure is going to be patient, but the dam showed good speed at Mohawk right away. (8) BETTORTHINGSAHEAD made a good move to get to the lead in his qualifier, but didn’t sustain it as well as others in my opinion. The connections have to be respected. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS IN 2026. NW OF 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2025. LEG 2. (5) THE TULSA KING was forwardly placed with intent last week in leg one of this series, and got the job done after tripping out from the pocket. Expect another good trip. (1) BOOKER SEELSTER raced well again in defeat and is the obvious threat to last week’s winner. (3) CORONA SEELSTER needed at least last week’s effort after being off since September. He should be tighter tonight. Race 3: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000. (2) JJ XAVIER should take some play from the trip handicappers after last week’s death shuffle. His two efforts before that were sharp wins. (5) WANNABEABIGSTAR took advantage of the drop in class and produced his usual kick to win. The shorter field helps. (3) HF PANS SHADOW continues to string together strong wins and grinded out a nice second last week. He is extremely logical with another good post draw. Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $13,000 LAST 8 STARTS.  AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000. (6) SETTN A PRECEDENT stepped forward last week in her second start back. She could be primed for a big effort tonight if she steps forward. (4) LYONS BETTORDAY had reason to tire after a tough trip on the outside. She is one of a few who should take advantage of the drop in class. It was tough to see through the conditions, but (5) GLENBORO didn’t produce her best last week after being forward. Her gate speed should make her a contender. Race 5: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,750 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $21,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). (2) WHATCHULOOKIN AT looks to be sitting on a win this week. He drops in class after a couple of fine efforts against tougher horses. (7) JORDY N came up short last week but produced a nice grinding effort, and showed he can take a lot of air on the outside. (4) ARIO HANOVER got a check last week and now finds post relief. I trust J-Mac to get him into a contending spot. Race 6: NW $13,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $29,500 LAST 8 STARTS. This looks like a classic (1) JABBERWOCKY speed mission spot. He is frequently overmatched in the Open, but got a trip around the track after not racing for a month. If he is ready, watch out. (5) SAULSBROOK VICTOR makes a ton of sense dropping from the Open level. He also has sharp gate speed. (6) MAJOR PERRY N has done little wrong since shipping from down under. Expect him to put in another good showing tonight. Race 7: SNOWSHOE PACING SERIES: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS IN 2026. NW OF 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2025. LEG 2. (7) RUN TO THE HILLS lived up to every part of his short price in his first start since July. I think he is well placed in this series and can take down this group. (2) RBSTENACIOUS T was another sharp winner last week who looks for a repeat picture. He continues to draw well. (1) ARTHUR IDLAM was put in play last week and ended up a solid second after tracking the winner for the length of the mile. J-Mac sticks. Race 8: FILLIES & MARES, NW $12,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $27,250 LAST 8 STARTS. (5) SEACLUSION N looked much better last week when saving every inch of ground. She was moving well in the stretch when she had room. A step forward makes her very tough, though she hasn’t been trustworthy lately. Your call. (2) WESTERN WISH has gotten back to form with two straight wins. She can get into a stalking spot again. (8) STYLE FOR A MILE finally won again with an off the pace trip. A similar journey seems in store from the high draw. Race 9: OPEN. (3) PACINO HANOVER doesn’t have the best record at the Open level, but was too sharp last week for me to ignore. I’ll take a swing. (7) BRUE HANOVER got his familiar pilot back in the bike and couldn’t be caught from the same post. Look for similar tactics tonight. (2) ITS SATURDAY NIGHT went a tougher trip than Brue Hanover last week, but still finished a strong second. He is very sharp right now and another contender Race 10: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $75,000 LIFETIME. AE: N/A $1,840 P/S IN 2025-2026. (6) GET WINGS suddenly found himself in a tough spot at the top of the stretch when Powertrain was going backwards. He lacked room for a majority of the stretch, but found his way on the ticket regardless. I’ll go his way tonight, forecasting a cleaner trip. (4) UNCLE SHANK A finally gets some post relief after a couple of tough trips. Very intrigued by James Macdonald choosing this one. I’m not close to being sold on (8) POWERTRAIN. He was an obvious underlay last week, has to work from the high draw, and loses the services of the aforementioned J-Mac. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 11: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $42,250) LIFETIME. AE: NW $1,150 LAST 4 STS. (6) DOCS EARNEST was moving best in the stretch after finding room and getting straightened. A cleaner trip likely gets him a picture. (8) MOVING ON OVER is usually on the move early and often. He will look for another sustained move to get himself into contention. (3) ALL BETS ON GARY is another who has been grinding out decent finishes. He races off the claim and deserves a look. Race 12: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $52,500 (OS $88,000) LIFETIME. AE: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER OPT. CLM. $60,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (4) DUSTY LANE LEVI continues to glide his way up the class ladder with much success. He is very hard to look past. (5) LONGSHOT PANIC is improving in each start since returning from the bench. He could loom as some decent value underneath, assuming the favorite delivers. (2) BLUE BAR got the job done last week and continued his streak of solid form. Hard to leave him off your tickets.
