Top Pick Stats: 26/87 (-$40.20) Best Bets: 3/7 (-$1.70); Spot Plays: 2/8 (-$1.20) Best Bet: KELLINA DIAMOND (Race 9) Spot Play: MUSCLE FASHION (Race 4) Early Pick-5: 4,5/3,5/1,3/2/1,3   $3.20 Late Pick-5: 3,5/3,6/5,8/8/3,6   $3.20 Race 1: NW $2,550 LAST 4 OR NW $8,000 LAST 7 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: $22,000 IN 2025. AE: N/A $1,050 P/S IN 2025-26. (5) COVER BAND was a sharp third last week after making two moves. I wasn’t sure how he would return after the slight break, but he looks good. (4) JGS PAL doesn’t have to start in the parking lot this week and gets another drop in class. McNair should have him forward. (3) MARKET BANKER has some pop when racing from off the pace, which is likely the trip he’ll have tonight. He can hit the ticket. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FILLIES & MARES IN 2026. NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2025. LEG 1. (5) D A MISS UNIVERSE has gotten better with each start and will look to maintain her unbeaten record in a short field. (3) TORNADO RAIN raced fine in her first trip around the Mohawk oval. She could be involved in the scramble for position to get the coveted top two spots. (6) SHURI has been good in her last two efforts and could end up right there if she brings her best. Race 3: F&M, NW $1,000 L4 OR NW $3,950 L8 STARTS (W/O $7,500 L8 N/E). AE: N/A $700 P/S IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: OPT. CLM. $12,500. AE: NW $1,450 IN 2025-26. (1) MY ONLY SUNSHINE has been lethal in her last two starts when racing on the lead. She steps up in class, but her form speaks for itself. (3) JOB HUNTER hasn’t missed the exacta in six straight efforts now, and has more than enough gate speed to get herself into a stalking spot. (5) CHEESE PARTY has the back class, but likely needs a start after being off for a month. The qualifier didn’t inspire confidence.1-3-5 Race 4: NW $1,630 LAST 4 STARTS (W/O $8,530 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: N/A $810 P/S IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS). (2) MUSCLE FASHION is hard to ignore when he drops this low, and even harder when the leading driver is piloting. I would expect him to be driven like he is the best in the race. (5) MEADOWVIEW ROTHY has been getting what she can with her recent off the pace trips. She was better last week, and might get along with McClure. (6) TOSCANO GIRL was a sharp winner last week and has versatility. She should be able to work out a trip from wherever she gets away. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (3) BEACH WIGGLE draws a much better post tonight and should be able to show more. I think Cullen waited a touch too long to flip off cover, but the horse wasn’t overextended. I’ll give her the nod. (1) SEVEN SUMMERS AGO had a very nice return to the races at Flamboro. She flashed ability in the dog days of summer. (8) D A BLACK BEAUTY is a reliable early speed threat, but she has yet to finish the job. She will take plenty of money again. Race 6: BLIZZARD PACING SERIES: 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FILLIES & MARES IN 2026. NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 LIFETIME AS OF OCTOBER 31ST, 2025. LEG 1. (3) WHO ARE YOU might have found a perfect middle ground between the conditioned company and tougher series. The speed is clearly there. (5) ALEXIA took a clear step forward last week and could capitalize if a couple in here end up being cheap speed types. (1) BARB LAHEY took a bad shuffle last week, but found a lane up the inside and found her way onto the ticket. Trip handicappers could make her a slight underlay. Race 7: POP UP SERIES CONSOLATION: HORSES & GELDINGS NW $30,000 OR NOT AVERAGING $1,250 PER START IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS). (6) HONOLULU VACATION tried to make two moves from the high draw in a race that got to the half very quickly. Another speed try should put him right in contention. (3) FLASH CUBE might be an underlay given last week’s tightener and the strength of the barn. He makes sense, but not at odds on. (2) BUDDYVILLE has been much better in his last two efforts and should be close enough to make an impact with a first over move. Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $12,000 TO $15,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000. (5) LEGACYS JAILBREAK was hard pressed to get to the lead after being three wide in the opening turn. In his second start off the claim, he picks up the leading driver. (8) MYSTIC produced a big upset last week after all of the battling in front of him. He will have to navigate an outside post, but he faces a near identical field. It’s hard to tell what version of (3) DONATOVER we’ll get tonight. He was sharp two back, but lacked punch last week when making his second move. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,850 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $8,000 LAST 8 STARTS. (W/O $14,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. (8) KELLINA DIAMOND was a sharp winner last week on the front end. That was her first win in the last couple of seasons, but she looked good doing so. Plante gives her the nod; I’ll do the same. (7) COZ IM SPECIAL stays at what I think is a nice middle ground class for her. She was a good second last week behind Western Wish. (1) SANTAFES APPETITE faded back to sixth when coming out of that same race. Her big miles on the front may finally be catching up to her. Race 10: POP UP SERIES FINAL: HORSES & GELDINGS NW $30,000 OR NOT AVERAGING $1,250 PER START IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS). (6) SOUTHWIND INFUSION got another great setup last week and strolled as the odds on favorite. Hard not to like him in the final despite his tactics. (3) BRONX DRIFTER was a good second last week as the heavy favorite. He is good when racing up close, and has enough grinding ability to make him a contender. (4) INSTANTANEOUS got in gear late in the mile and got the job done after getting to the outside. He has been better in his two starts off the claim.
