?q=100)
Seaside Shuffle and She'safirewoman got the job done in $65,000 Ohio Sires Stakes dashed for 2-year-old pacing fillies that led Friday night's program at Eldorado Scioto Downs.
Driven by Chris Page in the first section, Seaside Shuffle cleared Rose Run Bella (Aaron Merriman) for the top spot past the 27 4/5 quarter, but Deep Satin (Mike Micallef) followed Seaside Shuffle's move and cleared her before the 56 3/5 half.
Deep Satin maintained the lead through three-quarters in 1:24 4/5 and on the final bend, but Page had Seaside Shuffle off the cones before they turned for home. After a brief battle, Seaside Shuffle went around Deep Satin and then pulled away to the wire, winning by two lengths in 1:52 3/5. Deep Satin had to settle for second and She's Lit (Tyler Smith) checked in third.
A daughter of Downbytheseaside, Seaside Shuffle is trained by Ron Burke for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., Weaver Bruscemi LLC., Knox Services Inc. and R A S Racing LLC. Bred by William Walters and Joe McLead, Seaside Shuffle has won all three of her starts, has earned $69,300 and paid $5.00.

Vanna By The River (Austin Hanners) was the early tempo-setter in the second division, but rather than take a three-hole tuck on the first turn, She'safirewoman (Luke Hanners) drove on and landed on the point after the 27 2/5 quarter. She'safirewoman kept command from there as she put up the half in 56 4/5 and the three-quarters in 1:24 3/5 before she closed in 27 1/5 to defeat a gaining Shacarri (Page) by three-quarters of a length in 1:51 4/5. Vanna By The River wound up third.
Mark Winters trains She'safirewoman, a filly by Catch The Fire, for owner/breeder Harry Horowitz. She has a summary of 4-1-0 from five outings, has put away $79,189 and returned $5.60 to win.
