(2) BIG DADDY BLITZ was close at this level two back. (1) SHELDON draws the best post for a capable barn. (5) IRON DOME is one of the faster trotters in the race and will offer a big price. (3) ZORGWIJK SOPHIA trotting mare has threatened against slightly better on the year.
Race 2 – NW1/7500 Lifetime /AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(1) HAPPY IKE should be in line for a better trip this week starting from the rail. (3) WIZARD WIN scored a lifetime mark last race with an easy win at this level; short price. (5) MCPUNK lightly raced pacer is one of few in the field with upside. (4) ALL PIPED UP fits in with this bunch especially with a good setup.
Race 3 - NW1/7500 Lifetime /AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
In a weak field full of question marks, (9) HOLDIN ACES scored a big upset last week off the long layoff. The 5-year-old should be sharper second start back and will offer another nice price. (7) DOCTOR LARGE shows decent closing ability in this class. (6) THE LINK OF ART has hit the board in five straight but tends to lack late stamina. (1) THE BIG BAY WOLF just missed at this level two back.
Race 4 – NW750L4
(2) PRINCE OF ART owns a big burst of speed when timed right. (3) GUISEPPE MOLLUSCA rarely wins but is one of the faster pacers in the field and drops down to the bottom level. (1) MACH IT PAIDEN has just been racing evenly; command a price. (5) REBEL ROCK RUSTY has room to improve third start back off the layoff.
Race 5 - NW1500L4
In a tough race to gauge, (4) ZOLENA is one of few in the race that shows good efforts at this level. (2) DATSYUK is just now back in racing shape and owns some back class when right. (1) MOONTAN keeps a top driver and draws the best post. (6) POWER AND FAITH has made the most money on the year but needs a good setup to hit the ticket.
Race 6 - NW1/7500 Lifetime
(8) PEBBLES BY ROCK doesn’t look like much on paper but finds a weak field full of question marks and will offer a huge price. (3) SHIRLEY’S DELIGHT shows a good effort at this level on the year. (9) CHILLICOTHE picks up a huge driver change; threat. (1) TIME SENSITIVE filly finds a softer spot this week starting from the rail.
Race 7 - NW1/7500 Lifetime /AE NW2/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer– $10k GTD Pick 4
(2) FRAGRANT STICK just missed at this level last week racing gamely. (6) ANGRY ANNIE finished ahead of the top choice last week and is going in the right direction. (8) O U FIREFLY picks up a top driver and owns a recent win in this class. (3) MY STAR LEE is inconsistent from week to week but does show decent efforts against similar a few back.
Race 8 – NW1/7500 Lifetime
(3) BILBO BOBBINS lightly raced three-year old has flashed ability in three straight races. (1) ROCKIN TO THE MOON gets sent out first start for new connections and benefits from the best post. (8) DOUBLE B needs to find a way into the race but can hit the ticket with some racing luck. (4) IGOTALLNET is fast enough to compete with this group with a good setup.
Race 9 - NW1500L4
(5) OZYMANDIAS will likely offer the best price of the contenders and was a game winner when last seen at this level. (3) MEL ROSE DUNN owns only one win on the year but should be in the mix with a trouble-free trip. (4) JUST A STEADY HALL burned cash last week but keeps the top driver and just needs softer fractions up front. (1) MR LUCKY LUKE has just been racing evenly; use underneath.
Race 10 - NW2750L4
(4) BARNABAS picks up a significant driver change taking a big drop down. (7) BETTOR’S OUTLAW gets sent out first start for a new barn. The 5-year-old pacer shows a big burst and could offer a big price. (5) LODI MACHETTE MAN has threatened at this level in two straight. (1) UNLIKEANYOTHER should be in line for a great trip up close.
Race 11 - NW4/30000 Lifetime / AE NW6/40000 Lifetime/20000 Claimer - $10k GTD Pick 4
(7) MM’S CREDIT LINE trotting mare was used multiple times last week at this level just missing. (3) LUCKY OVER ANDOVER set a lifetime mark last race romping home against weaker. (1) GO GO GEORGE looks to be in line for another great trip up close. (4) ALAN will offer a much better price this week after coming up short as the favorite last out.
Race 12 - NW2/20000 Lifetime / AE NW3/30000 Lifetime/15000 Claimer
(9) IT’S MY PARTY well bred filly owns an easy win at this level two back. (3) SUICIDE BLONDE might be one of few threats in the race with a good effort. (5) TT’S CHIPSTER could be closer turning for home this week and had decent late trot in two straight. (1) CURIOUS LASS starts from the rail but would likely need more to threaten the top spot.
Race 13 - 5000 Claimer - $10K GTD Hi5
(6) VELOCITY STIFLER takes a significant drop down against weaker and gets sent out for capable connections. (2) PARTY BELLE raced well against similar last week and needed the start. (7) ROCK HARD has been going in the wrong direction but gets sent out for a new barn in for a tag will likely help. (9) KEYSTONE MEMPHIS has just been racing evenly but could pick up the pieces in the right scenario. (1) ROETHBLISSBERGER veteran pacer has lost a step but does start from the rail.
Race 14 – NW2750L4
(3) VENIER HANOVER four-year-old gelding will look to make it two straight bumping up in class. (2) MR COOLIE veteran stallion has been unbelievable on the year and looks for nine in a row. (1) LUNATIC FRINGE burned cash against softer last week; use underneath. (9) DOUBLE IMPACT looks to be in line for a ground saving trip up close.
Race 15 – NW2750L4
(2) DRIVING MISS SADIE takes a huge drop down against weaker. The trotting mare will likely try and get to the top early. (6) SASS well bred stallion adds first-time Lasix and is probably due for a better effort this week. (1) MISTER OLIVER should be in the mix for a piece underneath. (4) HENPECKED has just been trotting evenly but is capable of jumping up with a good effort from time to time.
Race 16 - NW1500L4
(9) TEBOW TIME will look to drop and pop down in class against much weaker. (4) FOUR DIAMONDS has been off a month but owns wins against better on the year. (3) ALLIE’S CRUISER has room to improve second start back off the layoff. (1) SAINT PETER rarely wins; use underneath.
