(5) FULTON’S FURY raced well off a three-week layoff last out and will offer a nice price. (1) BYE BYE PI shows ability but needs to stay trotting. (6) ACTION B gets sent out for a top barn and is the horse to beat with a trouble free trip. (8) C’S FIRE would have been a major player against this group with a better post.
Race 2 – NW1/7500 Lifetime
(4) THE COLDEST might be on the right track getting sent out second start for the new barn. (5) RV MARCIE fits in with this group with a decent setup. (7) UPTOWN BI has hit the board at this level in three straight. (3) FLAWLESS STONE filly finished a solid second against similar last out.
Race 3 – NW750L4
(2) RED CARPET DUDE takes a huge drop down against weaker. (4) ROLL’EM UP picks up the top driver off a decent qualifier and finds a weak field full of question marks. (3) MAGIC MANNY went a fast three-quarters of a mile against tougher two back. (9) OUTLAW WILD THING should be much closer turning for home this week.
Race 4 – NW4/30000 Lifetime / AE NW6/40000 Lifetime/20000 Claimer
(2) ROMA HALL filly was super last week drawing off. (1) MAKING DREAMS will get every opportunity to take down the top choice late. (3) MUSIC TEACHER has been knocking on the door at this level. (9) GO GO GEORGE shows competitive efforts against similar; use underneath.
Race 5 – NW2750L4/ AE 6000 Claimer
(6) IMPRESSIVE CHIEF picks up a huge driver change against slightly softer. (5) JAILHOUSE HOOCH just missed at this level last out. (1) FORT COMMANDER should be in line for a decent trip up close. (2) VALLEY GLIDER nine-year-old stallion needs a bounce back effort this week for a chance to hit the ticket at a price.
Race 6 – Mini Series- Consolation NW1000 per start in 2019
(3) CRIME FIGHTER well-bred stallion picks up a huge driver change and is capable of better. (1) DEEP QUESTION owns back class when right and needed the start last week off more than a month layoff. (9) MARTZ CREEK LIBY also picks up a big driver change and is a threat with a smooth trip. (2) STARDUST MEMORIES doesn’t win often and is best used underneath.
Race 7 - FM NW3/20000 Lifetime – **$10k GTD Pick 4**
(1) SHESGOTTAMISSION three-year-old beat similar a few back. If the filly minds her manners out of the gate she can beat this group. (2) SLICK SARAH has hit the board in seven of ten on the season. (3) PRINCESS DEEP just needs to be closer turning for home. (4) SUPREME LADY draws back inside and beat similar three back.
Race 8 – Mini Series- Final NW1000 per start in 2019
(4) BEND IN THE RIVER will be tough to beat with an easy early lead. (1) ST ELIAN’S FIRE picks up a huge driver change with the best post. (9) FOUNDONABEACH eight-year-old gelding will have his work cut out for him this week starting from the second-tier. (2) CUMBERLAND GAP appears to be heading in the right direction after a slow start to his sophomore campaign.
Race 9 - NW4000L4/ AE 8000 Claimer
(1) TEBOW TIME drops back down a notch and will offer a fair price starting from the rail. (4) IMA IRONMAN raced well against better last week. (2) DONT TELL RUSTY has made the most money of the field on the year; threat. (3) BEAUTY DESIRES probably has more to offer after a win off the layoff.
Race 10 - NW3/30000 Lifetime / AE 15000 Claimer
(8) SQUEE HANOVER has raced big at this level in two straight. (2) HATE THE RULES has hit the board in two of three since the barn change. (4) FRIGGUN BIGGUN just missed last week racing gamely. (1) FRANK THE FISH doesn’t look the best on paper but could hit the ticket underneath at a price.
Race 11 – NW1/7500 Lifetime- **$10k GTD Pick 4**
(7) I’M HUNGOVER comes into the race off an easy win against similar and has been improving with every start on the season. (4) DRAGON PURPLECHIPS has yet to win in thirty-nine career starts but has been competitive at this level. (3) SHARK IN THE BAY will be in the mix with a trouble free trip. (1) ROCKABILLY IDOL lightly raced pacer has room to improve off a decent qualifier.
Race 12 - 5000 Claimers/NW2000L4
(1) BOUNCING BRO owns gate speed and draws the rail against a soft group. (4) POURSOMESUGARONME morning line favorite made a miscue last week but gets sent out for capable connections. (6) AMAZING CHIP can pick up the pieces in the right scenario. (8) CAUSWAY has room to improve second start off the layoff.
