Here’s my analysis and a suggested ticket for the final pick three for Sunday’s racing at Santa Anita. Race 8 The 1 3/4-mile San Juan Capistrano begins the sequence, and here, given the length of this race, I’ll take a stand by singling Irish-bred Oscar Dominguez (8). His European pedigree should leave him apt to handle the stamina challenge of this marathon contest. Regardless, he is in good form and owns some of the better Beyer Speed Figures in the field. Race 9 3-year-old fillies Der Lu (7) and Bowl of Soul (1), a pair of uncoupled runners trained by Bob Baffert, hold an apparent talent edge in this first-level allowance. Der Lu, out since September, showed promise last year at Del Mar and is working quickly for her return and Bowl of Soul is a logical threat after winning her only race by 1 1/2 lengths at Santa Anita on May 27. Race 10 Spreading seems the way to go in the nightcap, a maiden grass race for maidens in which no horse stands out. Catch the Eye (11), Surface (4), and Pretty Point (13) are the top three selections in order, just ahead of Desert Oasis (9), Miss Bigly (1) and Magical Gray (6) – who also land in the mix for added coverage. Let’s hope for a price, which Catch the Eye, the first pick, offers at her 6-1 morning line. The Ticket A 50-cent Pick 3 ticket playing the horses outlined above - 8 with 1,7 with 1,4,6,9,11,13  - costs $6
