Race 1 – FM NW4/40000 Lifetime
(4) SUSAN SAGE mare is tough to bet against as she goes for six straight. (3) FRESH EYES impeccably bred filly is starting to flash some talent and can upset the top choice with a trouble free trip. (2) DANGER STRIKE adds second-time Lasix and shows good efforts at this level. (1) FOX VALLEY SIERRA mare draws the best post but has been lackluster finishing her miles; command a price.
Race 2 – Two-Year-Old Fillies
(4) AIN’T NO SECRET filly was impressive last week and can score a second straight win with a similar effort. (3) TRENDY H has some upside and appears to be on the right track after an easy wire to wire win last out. (6) DOUBLE PARKED has finished first or second in seven of nine starts; threat. (7) FLAMES OF FIRE shows improvement in two straight.
Race 3 – Two-Year-Olds
(3) SWAN OF DREAMS will offer the best price of the contenders and has the pedigree to move forward. (2) FOX VALLEY QUEST is the horse to beat but does show some kinks in the armor; short price. (4) LOU PASCHAL has hit the board in ten of fifteen starts on the fair circuit. (7) DEEMEMORYMAKER doesn’t look the best on paper but could hit the ticket at a price.
Race 4 - FM 4-5000 Claimer
(8) BACKWOODS BARBIE looks to make it five straight easy wins since the claim. (1) SUMMER PARTY should be in line for a much better trip this week starting from the inside. (7) KZ KOOL DESIRE needs a good setup but has hit the board at a price in two of three. (2) FOX VALLEY CHARLIZ drops down to the bottom level.
Race 5 – NW5000L4
(3) BO I SEE TIME adds Lasix and was close in this class two back; driver’s choice. (1) TIPONTAB is more than capable of beating this bunch should the top choice falter. (7) OH SO PINE looks to be heading in the right direction. The 3-year-old trotted a very nice back half of a mile last week. (4) KRISTY’SGINGERGAL has made the most money on the year but shows breaks in two of three.
Race 6 – Two-Year-Olds NW1
(8) I THANK YOU picks up the top driver against a weak and inconsistent field. The 2-year-old is up against it starting from the outside but that could boost the price a bit. (3) FOX VALLEY EXTACY needs a smooth trip from the provisional pilot; threat. (1) EL OH GOVNER raced well two back against similar and draws the rail. (2) GRACIE’S WAY appears to have a lot of talent but has yet to put it all together.
Race 7 – NW2/10000 Lifetime- **$30k GTD Pick 4**
(8) FOR TROTS SAKES has been facing tougher and will offer a big price. (1) SKIPPYMALOU benefits from the top driver and the best post. (2) JOE JOES VIOLET shows breaks in three of five but is one of the faster trotters in the field. (7) PRINCE CASSIS doesn’t own a win on the year but could be very close with a good setup.
Race 8 - NW3/20000 Lifetime
(7) MICHONNE was sharp last week off a month layoff. The 3-year-old filly will be tough to beat with a repeat of that effort. (10) PEPIN COOLIE hasn’t been right in three straight but picks up a huge driver change. (9) LETSGOFORITALL has been better for the new barn but still needs more to hit the top spot. (8) FOX VALLEY STRPWR owns a good burst of speed when timed right; use underneath.
Race 9 – FM NW3/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(1) SAND AND ROCKS has been knocking on the door at this level despite being shut out on the season. (6) DUNE DAME came up empty last week but had been sharp prior. (3) MISS TENNESSEE pacing mare is capable of pacing a fast mile and picks up a positive driver change. (5) ANGEL DANCE has room to improve getting sent out for a new barn.
Race 10 – FM NW2/10000 Lifetime
(1) FOX VALLEY LIL KIM raced well last week from a tough post. The sophomore filly should find this spot much more to her liking. (10) CAROLINE GR looks to make it four straight wins but will need a lot of racing luck starting from the far outside. (3) FOOLISHLITTLEGIRL has hit the board against similar in three straight. (7) REAL SUPER beat softer last week; use underneath.
