Race 1 – FM NW4/30000 Lifetime/11000 Claimer
(5) FINLEYS FILLY appears to have turned a corner despite being impeded last week. (3) FLYING SHEKEL filly has hit the first two spots in seven of eleven starts on the year. (6) ROBERTS NEW LIFE pacing mare set a lifetime mark last week pulling off a huge upset. A repeat of that effort puts her close. (8) MISS TENNESSEE put in a huge rally last week from off the pace; threat.
Race 2 – NW1 Lifetime
(1) MYSTICAL MOMENTO lightly raced filly takes a huge drop down against weaker. (4) NEED TO FOCUS might be the only threat to the top choice. (2) LOU SCION LOU has an excellent record of hitting the board on the year. (3) I’M TRUE BLUE has shown good improvement in two straight.
Race 3 – NW1500L4
(7) STICKUM VICKY might be the fastest of the group with a trouble free trip. (2) JUDY THE BEAUTY shows a win at this level a few back; short price. (1) MOONSHINE RUNNER rarely wins but should be in the mix for a piece. (6) TAROT needed the start over the track last week and has room to improve.
Race 4 - NW5000L4
(1) JUSTLIKEHIM finds a much softer bunch this week and draws the rail. (7) BIG EXPENSE owns good tactical gate speed and is capable against this group. (3) TIPONTAB might have more in the tank this week after a nice victory against similar last start. (4) NAUT E CAVIAR was the top driver’s choice off a win but the mare will need more this week; use caution.
Race 5 - Open
(5) GOT THE GROOVE gelding gets a post edge on his main rivals; fires early. (8) PINE DREAM just missed last week racing gamely. The veteran trotter has been razor sharp all year. (6) MANDEVILLE gets sent out for a hot barn; threat. (7) CALL FOR JUSTICE has yet to make up any late ground on most of this group; use underneath.
Race 6 – FM 4-5000 Claimer
(9) BACKWOODS BARBIE will look to make it five straight wins at this level. (6) SUMMER PARTY has hit the board in eight of ten starts. (7) DESIRE ONE has been knocking on the door against tougher at Hoosier. (8) KZ KOOK DESIRE is capable of hitting the bottom of the ticket with some racing luck.
Race 7 – FM NW1 Lifetime
(9) TRENDY H has burned cash in three straight but appears to be much faster than this field. (4) DALI PAR TON lightly-raced mare is off to a good start on the year and has room to move forward. (2) SPICY LIL HOPE has just been racing evenly; command a price. (5) ARRIATTA ROSE came up empty last week against similar; use underneath.
Race 8 - FM NW4/40000 Lifetime
(10) VALAR MORGHULIS tough to gauge what kind of effort you will get from the mare week to week. A good effort draws off against this bunch. (1) PRETTY IRIS should be in line for a great trip up close; threat. (4) FRESH EYES might be overlooked in the wagering a bit even after a sharp effort last out. (5) FOX VALLEY SIERRA will probably be closer turning for home this week.
Race 9 - NW2/10000 Lifetime/9000 Claimer
(2) ALWAYSHAVINGFUN should have had more late last week off of reasonable fractions. The filly is still learning and should get another chance to make every pole a winning one. (9) RED HOT PACKERETTE mare might have been the horse to beat had she drew inside. (6) NEDDY NUMBER THREE has been no match for the top choices; use underneath. (1) PERFECTLY DUNE might be able to shake loose for a piece late.
Race 10 – NW3000L4- **$30k GTD Pick 4**
(5) SEEYOUATTHEFINISH owns back class on most of the field and is just now back in racing shape. (6) ROLLIN COAL shows good efforts against better; threat. (1) OVER SPEEDING always seems to be close most weeks. (2) WHISKERONKITTENS pacing mare owns multiple wins over this track but could need a start having been off almost a month.
Race 11- FM NW3000L4
(6) LOOK KIMBO is one of the faster pacers in the field and always offer a big price with the provisional pilot. (5) STONEBRIDGE PEARL should be in line for an easier trip this week. (1) SAVANAH GEORGIA pacing mare owns a big burst of speed when timed right. (3) DALI TREASURE picks up the top driver and was close at this level last month.
Race 12- FM NW1500L4/6000 Claimer
(7) MY UPTOWNE GIRL mare needs a good setup but shows closing ability with a fast pace up front. (8) HARD HEADED WOMEN had lots of sneaky late pace two back before the miscue. (1) MORGANGETSHERWAY keeps the top driver with the best post. (3) GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS has just been racing evenly and is best used underneath.
Race 13- FM NW2/10000 Lifetime
(10) FOX VALLEY LIL KIM has been very close against tougher on the year; big chance. (9) ASHLEES FINE GIRL has yet to miss the board in seven career starts. (3) PHILLY WELLNESS just missed last week at this level. (1) CASSIE MARIE’S T T mare draws the best post against a weak and inconsistent field.
