The stallion Flat Out had a memorable day Sunday at Aqueduct, as he was the sire of three winners on the card, including both stakes races: the $125,000 Queens County won by Forewarned and the $100,000 Gravesend won by Chateau. Flat Out’s first winner came in the first race, when Fancy Feline romped by 12 1/2 lengths in a $40,000 maiden claiming sprint and paid $6.80. Forewarned upset the Queens County at 42-1 when he swept past the leaders in the stretch for a 1 1/4-length victory over Empty Tomb. It was another head back in third to Backsideofthemoon. Forewarned ($86) settled off the pace as Empty Tomb set fractions of 23.46 for the opening quarter and 48.37 for the half-mile, while pushed along by Backsideofthemoon. Forewarned made a four-wide move around the final turn, came five wide into the stretch, and rallied to cover the 1 1/8 miles for 3-year-olds and up in 1:51.92. :: Bet the races with confidence on DRF Bets. Uriah St. Lewis bred and owns Forewarned. “The thing with him is he wants longer distances,” he told NYRA. “The longer the better, and that’s what we were trying to do. He won the Best of Ohio Endurance three years in a row, which is a mile and a quarter. “We’re going to keep him in longer distance races over the winter. The mile and an eighth is great for him.” Forewarned has now won 10 of 45 starts for earnings of $762,383.  Chateau ($5.20) shuttled to the lead soon after the start of the Gravesend, which was for 3-year-olds and up over six furlongs. He set fractions of 23.30 seconds for the opening quarter and 47.22 for the half-mile before going on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:11.26. “He dragged me around there,” winning rider Kendrick Carmouche told the New York Racing Association. “He kept fighting. Every time he heard the other horse coming, he wanted a little bit more.” Chateau won by 3 1/2 lengths over Jaxon Traveler. It was another three-quarters of a length to Drafted. Rob Atras trains Chateau for Michael Dubb. Chateau has now won 8 of 39 starts and $615,019.
