Daily Racing Form, in conjunction with the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA), has published a new annual TAA Magazine to increase awareness of the TAA’s mission and its ongoing efforts to help fund Thoroughbred aftercare in the United States and in Canada. The inaugural magazine is currently being distributed throughout Lexington, Ky., in advance of the Breeders’ Cup and will be available at many other key locations across the country.

The fact that Uncle Mo, who is based at Coolmore’s Ashford Stud in Versailles, Ky., has emerged as a leading freshman sire should be no surprise. The son of the late Indian Charlie won his three starts as a juvenile – including the Champagne Stakes and the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile – by a combined 23 1/4 lengths en route to earning the 2010 Eclipse Award as champion 2-year-old male. Five years later, Uncle Mo holds a strong hand at the 2015 Breeders’ Cup, as his first crop of runners have been standouts from coast to coast.
