BEL Race 8
DISCO PARTNER comes off two straight wins including a record-setting win in the Grade 3 Jaipur last time. He loves this course but he’s been primarily sprinting so it’s a different trip. OFFERING PLAN returned from a long layoff to win posting a career-top Beyer last time. GRAND ARCH hasn’t won in a while but he’s a Grade 1 winner and has been facing primarily graded stakes foes. KING KREESA won this last year and showed with a fine second last time out he’s still got plenty of gas in the tank. (4)
BEL Race 9
COLLECTIVE EFFORT showed speed and was a solid second in his debut here June 23. BAD GUY stalked the pace in that same June 2 race and ran on well for third, not too far behind ‘EFFORT. MR. PETE was away slowly in his debut here June 2 but kept to his task nicely to finish second. He can move forward off that with blinkers on and a better start. (3)

LRC Race 6
GENERAL IKE was gone 18 months but has come back sharp, finishing a nice third at Santa Anita April 22 (to West Coast, who came back to win a stakes at Belmont and is the big favorite in today’s Grade 3 Los Alamitos Derby in the next race) and was then a decent fourth for $50,000 at Santa Anita June 9. He has speed, figures fitter off those two outings and today’s drop helps, too. UNINVITED ran fourth behind GENERAL IKE in that aforementioned April 22 outing but has been freshened. LUCKY J LANE ran well on dirt at Santa Anita May 12 when second and returning to dirt may help. He won here last Sept. 25. (3)
LRC Race 7
WEST COAST looked super whipping some nice sophomores in Belmont’s Easy Goer on the Belmont Stakes undercard June 10. He’d always shown promise and looks ready to deliver on it. KLIMT flashed ample talent last summer including taking the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity. He missed this year’s classics but has trained well. (2)
