Breeders' Cup elects 16 members


Foal and stallion nominators to the Breeders’ Cup have elected 16 individuals to serve as the organization’s members, including eight individuals who won re-election, according to Breeders’ Cup.

The individuals who were re-elected are Jack Brothers, Doug Cauthen, Clem Murphy, Maria Niarchos-Goauze, Bill Oppenhiem, Don Robinson, Charlotte Weber, and Barry Weisbord. The new members are John Adger, Barbara Banke, George Bolton, Dr. Andreas Jacobs, W. Bruce Lunsford, Dr. J. David Richardson, W. Elliott Walden, and David Wildenstein.

Breeders’ Cup has 39 members. The members are responsible for electing the organization’s 13-person board of directors.

Voting was conducted online. Nominators to the organization receive proportional voting rights based on their contributions in nominating fees to Breeders’ Cup.
