Black Caviar is bound for Royal Ascot in June with an undefeated record after 21 starts.

Saturday in Australia, Black Caviar won her final start of the Australian season with an easy score  in the Group 1 Goodwood Stakes at Morphettville Racecourse in Adelaide.

The 1-20 favorite, Black Caviar led throughout about six furlongs and was not fully extended, prevailing by 1 1/4 lengths over the 25-1 shot We’re Gonna Rock. In recent starts, Black Caviar has stalked the pace for the first half of a race before taking over, but jockey Luke Nolen had her on the lead from the start of the Goodwood.

In the Goodwood, Nolen never asked Black Caviar through the stretch. The race was run before a sell-out crowd of 30,000.

Trained by Peter Moody for a partnership, Black Caviar holds the record for consecutive wins on the major Australian racing circuit. Two horses won 22 consecutive races at minor venues.

In England, Black Caviar is already the 4-6 favorite in future-book betting to win the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 23.

Her winning streak began in April 2009 and includes races from about five furlongs to about seven furlongs, all on turf. The Diamond Jubilee Stakes will be her first start outside of Australia.
