Putmeinyourwill holds on to win Seabiscuit

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Putmeinyourwill ($9) got first run on favored Heroi Do Bafra and held him off by a neck to win the $61,800 Seabiscuit Handicap on Saturday at Bay Meadows.

The favored Heroi Do Bafra was content to sit in midpack early before unleashing a strong but belated run. He couldn't quite catch the winner on the speed favoring track as he followed his rival's path into lane.

Putmeinyourwill saved ground, then moved out for room circling three wide on the second turn of the 1 1/16-mile turf race.
