Airdrie Stud announces 2016 fees for its stallions
Airdrie Stud in Midway, Ky., announced the fees for its eight stallions for the 2016 breeding season, and Majesticperfection tops its list with a fee of $20,000. Majesticperfection, whose oldest foals are 3 this year, is the sire of Kentucky Oaks winner Lovely Maria among his four stakes winners.
Cairo Prince and Creative Cause will have the co-second-highest fees at Airdrie, each standing for $15,000. Multiple Grade 2 winner Cairo Prince, who entered stud earlier this year, is a son of Pioneerof the Nile, sire of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah. Grade 1 winner Creative Cause, by leading sire Giant’s Causeway, entered stud in 2013.
New to Airdrie for 2016 is Summer Front, a multiple graded stakes-winning son of War Front who earned more than $1 million. He will stand for $10,000.
