Bailey, still in a dogfight, ties own record for meet wins

SARATOGA N.Y. - Jerry Bailey rode two winners on Friday to equal his own meet record of 50 victories, set here last summer. He tied the mark winning the fourth race aboard Miu Miu for leading trainer Bill Mott. It was the 20th win of the meet for Mott, which also equaled the meet record, established by Todd Pletcher in 1998.

"It's great equaling the record, but the record doesn't mean a thing if I don't beat Johnny [Velazquez] for the title," said Bailey. "Right now my main goal is to finish the meet with one more win than John."
