Superior Storm, unbeaten in statebred competition, may get another shot at a graded stakes.
Superior Storm is now a triple threat.
A multiple stakes winner at one turn and two, the Louisiana Downs-based filly made her turf debut Monday in Texas and finished a strong second in the Grade 3, $200,000 Ouija Board Distaff that went in course-record time. Superior Storm is now back home in Bossier City, La., and on Tuesday her trainer, Rick Jackson, was just starting to map out a summer campaign for the Louisiana-bred, who in April ran second in the Grade 1, $500,000 Apple Blossom at Oaklawn Park.
