Welcome to Spa Babies! I'll break down the statistics for every juvenile contest at the meet and hope for a tidy profit.
In past years, I would list the stats for each horse before writing up my analysis, selections and wagering strategy. In order to streamline the content, this year's Spa Babies will showcase written analyses of each juvenile race. Each analysis will include relevant statistical information. Following the analysis, top three selections and wagering strategy will be provided.

DEL MAR, Calif. – The well-traveled Banned found California as hospitable as some of the other places he has visited this year. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Watching Grace Hall train in the weeks following her debut win at Delaware Park gave trainer Tony Dutrow the feeling that running her in Sunday’s Grade 1 Spinaway at Saratoga was the right thing to do even though she had just the one start.
“We knew there was a lot of risk here, we knew we were in deep water,’’ Dutrow said. “I was led to believe to take the chance today; everybody supported me and here we are.’’
OCEANPORT, N.J. - Yummy With Butter earned a second straight Grade 3 victory at Monmouth Park, drawing off to a 3 1/4-length win over Cherokee Lord on Sunday in the $100,500 Cliff Hanger Stakes on the turf.
A 7-year-old gelding, Yummy With Butter has been steadily improving throughout the meet for Yvon Belsoeur, who took over the training last winter.
