Fox Rox, who improved dramatically with the addition of blinkers in his third career start, will try to duplicate the performance of his dam, Shesastonecoldfox, by winning the six-furlong New York Breeders' Futurity, the richest race of the season at Finger Lakes.
Labor Day at Finger Lakes couldn’t have been any more spectacular for owner-breeders Dennis and Deborah Petrisak, their trainer M. Anthony Ferraro, and jockey Pedro Rodriguez, who combined to sweep a pair of six-figure stakes for 2-year-olds.
