Tamit (right) will make her first start in six months in Friday's first-level allowance feature at Churchill.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The lone allowance on a nine-race Friday card that starts at 12:45 p.m. Eastern could have Tamit as a lukewarm favorite in an oversubscribed lineup of fillies and mares going a mile on turf.

Trained by Norm Casse, who registered his first two career victories earlier at the meet, Tamit will be making her first start in six months following a lengthy series of workouts in Florida and Kentucky. Owned by Robert Masterson of Tepin fame, Tamit will break from post 3 and will be ridden by Gabriel Saez in the $55,000 first-level race.

Imprimis handled soft ground in the Jim McKay Turf Sprint to remain unbeaten in four starts.

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Justify may have been the most noteworthy undefeated stakes winner running last week at Pimlico, but he wasn’t the only one.

One day before Justify registered his fifth victory in as many starts in the Preakness, Imprimis ran his record to a perfect 4 for 4 with a much easier 5 1/4-length triumph in the Jim McKay Turf Sprint. And like Justify, Imprimis did not even begin his career until February of 2018.
