Walmac also will give breeders the chance to accept foal-share agreements within 30 days of a foal's birth. Under a standard foal-share arrangement, a stallion owner waives the stud fee in exchange for an ownership interest in the resulting foal.
Artax, 1999s sprint champion and Breeders Cup Sprint winner, will relocate this week from New York to stand at Randy Gammills Diamond G Ranch in Oklahoma.
Artax, a 13-year-old Marquetry horse, will stand for $2,500 at Diamond G Ranch.

Hill 'n' Dale Farm will consign the 10-year-old Azeri in foal to 2004 Horse of the Year Ghostzapper. Hill 'n' Dale will represent the Allen E. Paulson Living Trust at the auction.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Two more prominent Lexington stallion operations have issued new, lower fees for their sires in 2009, following a trend to cut back stallion fees in light of the plummeting bloodstock market.
Gainesway Farm announced Monday it will slash fashionable sire Mr. Greeley's fee from his previously advertised $100,000 to $75,000.
