Juddmonte Farms announces European 2015 stud fees

Juddmonte Farms has released the advertised fees for its 2015 stallion roster in Newmarket, England, led once again by the undefeated Frankel.

Entering his third season at stud, Frankel’s fee will remain unchanged at $199,913 (125,000 pounds). The first foals  by the 6-year-old son of Galileo arrived in 2014.

Also standing for a six-figure fee will be Dansili, an 18-year-old son of Danehill, whose fee rises to $159,961 (100,000 pounds) after commanding 95,000 pounds last year.

Ice Box relocates to Millennium Farms

Grade 1 winner Ice Box will relocate to Millennium Farms in Lexington, Ky., for the 2015 breeding season.

The 7-year-old son of Pulpit previously stood at Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky., where he was advertised for a fee of $7,500 in 2014. A fee has not been announced for 2015.

On the racetrack, Ice Box won 3 of 16 career starts for earnings of $948,068, highlighted by a win in the Grade 1 Florida Derby and a runner-up finish in the 2010 Kentucky Derby. His first foals are yearlings of 2014.

Juddmonte Farms announces 2015 Kentucky stud fees

Juddmonte Farms has announced 2015 stud fees for its two-horse roster standing at its U.S. division in Lexington, Ky.

Mizzen Mast will stand for an increased fee of $25,000 during the upcoming breeding season, up from $20,000 in 2014. Leading runners this year by the 16-year-old son of Cozzene include undefeated French Group 1-winning juvenile Full Mast and Grade 2 winners Filimbi and Stonetastic.

Honorable Dillon to stand at Rockridge Farm in New York

Grade 2 winner Honorable Dillon has been retired from racing and will stand at Rockridge Farm in Hudson, N.Y., in 2015 for an advertised fee of $5,000.

The 4-year-old son of Tapit finishes his on-track career with 3 wins in 15 career starts for earnings of $233,649, highlighted by a win in the Grade 2 Hutcheson Stakes.

Tapit to stand for $300,000 in 2015

Gainesway stallion Tapit, who recently broke the single-year record for North American progeny earnings, will stand for an advertised fee of $300,000 during the 2015 breeding season.

The 13-year-old son of Pulpit is the first North American stallion to stand for that amount since 2008, when Storm Cat, A.P. Indy, and Distorted Humor each commanded that fee. The pensioned Kingmambo also stood for $300,000 within the past decade.

Kitten's Joy continues at $100,000 for 2015

Leading sire Kitten’s Joy will stand for an unchanged fee of $100,000 in 2015, Ramsey Farm of Nicholasville, Ky., announced on Saturday.

Ramsey Farm will also stand Real Solution, a Grade 1-winning son of Kitten’s Joy, who retires to stud alongside his sire for an advertised fee of $12,500.

Group 1 winner Noble Mission, a full brother to Frankel, to stand at Lane’s End

Noble Mission, a multiple Group 1 winner and full brother to European champion Frankel, has been retired from racing and will make his stallion debut at Lane’s End in 2015.

The Versailles, Ky., farm purchased a majority interest in the 5-year-old son of Galileo and will stand him in association with his owner and breeder, Prince Khalid Abdullah’s Juddmonte Farms. A 2015 fee will be announced.
