Those not attuned to the lexicon of skiers, snowboarders, and surfers have no idea what “shred the gnar” means, but anyone tuned into the Chilukki Stakes on Saturday at Churchill Downs could see that the filly named Shred the Gnar meant business.

Jockey Manny Franco said “we all agreed” it was too windy to continue.
Jockey Dylan Davis was listed in stable condition at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y., early Saturday afternoon with multiple injuries suffered in a spill Friday at Aqueduct.

OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Fully Subscribed, dominant winner of Saturday’s Grade 2 Mother Goose Stakes, should fill the void left by the retirements of Grade 1 winners Randomized and Raging Sea for trainer Chad Brown in the older female dirt division in 2026.
Fully Subscribed, now fully healed from a tibial stress fracture that cost her the first half of her 3-year-old season, won the Mother Goose by 4 1/2 lengths, earning a 91 Beyer Speed Figure. It was her third start off a layoff, which saw her lose twice in the first-level allowance ranks.
OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Disco Time’s dominant and fast victory in Saturday’s $200,000 Dwyer Stakes earned him a shot at the $20 million Saudi Cup on Feb. 14 in Riyadh and that could very well be the undefeated colt’s next start.
The Saudi Cup is 98 days from the Dwyer. Disco Time, who remained undefeated in five starts, won the Dwyer off a 50-day layoff after he won the St. Louis Derby off a 244-day layoff. He won the Dwyer by 9 3/4 lengths, ran a mile in 1:33.86 and earned a 107 Beyer Speed Figure for the effort.
