Three things you should know before betting on Eagles-Raiders:

1. The Raiders are 7-14-1 against the spread as a favorite since the start of the 2017 season, which includes records of 3-3 straight-up and 0-6 against the spread over its past six games as a favorite dating back to the final Sunday of last November. Philadelphia, however, is 2-7 both straight-up and against the spread over the team’s past nine road games. The Eagles are 0-6-1 straight-up and 1-6 against the spread over their past seven games against AFC opponents.

2. Las Vegas is 4-13 straight-up and 5-12 against the spread in October games since the start of the 2017 season, which includes straight-up and against-the-spread records of 2-9 in October home games. Philadelphia, meanwhile, is 6-3 both straight-up and against the spread in October road games since the start of 2017 despite the fact that the Eagles were underdogs in every one of those games aside from a 34-13 victory as a 1.5-point road favorite against the Giants in October 2018. Nine of the 12 October road games Philadelphia has played since the start of the 2016 season have gone Over the total.

3. All but two of the 11 games that have been played in Las Vegas since the Raiders’ move there prior to last season have gone Over the total. The lone exceptions were a 37-12 victory against the Broncos last November that came within 2 points of eclipsing the 50.5 total for that game and a 20-9 home loss to the Bears two Sundays ago. Those are the only two of the 11 games in which both teams didn’t reach 20 points. Vegas has scored an average of 27 points while allowing an average of more than 29 points over its 11 home games since the start of last season.
