Three things you need to know before betting on Broncos-Browns:

1. Neither the Broncos nor the Browns were particularly impressive while suffering double-digit losses as home favorites this past Sunday, with Denver losing 34-24 to the Raiders and Cleveland being routed 37-14 by the visiting Cardinals. Since the start of the 2017 season, NFL underdogs of between 3.5 and 10 points that are coming off a game in which they allowed 30 or more points are 14-5 against the spread when facing an opponent coming off a loss by 14 or more points.

2. The Broncos have gotten the better of this head-to-head series in recent years, going 8-1 straight-up and 6-2-1 against the spread over their past nine meetings with the Browns. The teams last played in Denver in November 2019, with the home team pulling out a 24-19 victory as a 4-point underdog. This marks the first meeting between the teams in Cleveland since October 2015, a game the Broncos won 26-23 as a 3-point road favorite.

3. Cleveland is 3-8 against the spread as a favorite over the past calendar year, which includes an 0-7 against-the-spread record when favored over an AFC opponent. Denver, meanwhile, is 11-6 against the spread as a road underdog over the past three calendar years. The Browns are 1-8 straight-up and 3-6 against the spread when facing an AFC opponent since the start of the 2018 season.
