All 30 teams are set to face off in today’s slate of MLB games. Let’s take a look at a few of today’s best bets.

1.Red Sox Spread (+1.5, -145)

Toronto has got their ace on the mound tonight at home against the Red Sox in Alek Monoah. He boasts a 9-2 record with an extremely impressive 2.05 ERA in 14 starts this season. However, Boston will send Nick Pivetta out to start, who is a very solid 8-5 with a 3.25 ERA. These teams are neck and neck for second place in the division, and the Blue Jays took the first game of this series with a 6-5 win last night. Both teams have some big bats in their lineups, but the Red Sox have three players hitting over .315 in Bogaerts, Devers, and JD Martinez. Manager Alex Cora has also lead Boston to a 49-14 career record as a road underdog in his tenure, which puts his team in good position to cover, and even win this ball game tonight.

2.Angels Moneyline (-185)

While the moneyline is a bit steep here, parlaying it should be a great way to capitalize tonight. Shohei Ohtani takes the mound for the Angels, with a 6-4 record and a 2.90 ERA. His last outing was an absolute gem, throwing eight innings of scoreless baseball while striking out thirteen. The White Sox and Angels are a great matchup for each other, which should mean a close game is in store tonight. The Angels are 18-8 straight up on the season against teams with a bad bullpen (38% blown save rating). With Ohtani on the mound and of course being able to hit, as well as the potential for a close, or even walk off win for LA the Angels seem to be the good pick.

3. Reds Spread (+1.5 -155)

This matchup features two of the worst teams in baseball, which is what makes it so intriguing. The Cubs and Reds are fighting it out for the second to last spot in the NL Central. While the Cubs may have a few more valuable pieces offensively, all signs are pointing to the Reds tonight. Hunter Greene takes the hill for the Reds with a 3-8 record and a 5.66 ERA. Justin Steele will pitch for the Cubs, and holds a 2-5 record with a 4.59 ERA. Neither pitcher is impressive, but some other stats can help point towards the Reds. Cincinnati is 6-1 straight up coming off an upset win against a division rival this season. Game two of this set tonight qualifies for that impressive record, as the Red will look to turn that to 7-1 tonight.
