While Iowa does not have teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL, the state has a passionate college sports following.
The two most prominent programs are:
Iowa Hawkeyes (Big Ten)
Iowa State Cyclones (Big 12)
The Drake Bulldogs and Northern Iowa Panthers also compete at the Division I level.
It’s important to note that Iowa law prohibits betting on player prop bets involving in-state college athletes, and live in-play wagering on in-state college teams is restricted.
