LEXINGTON, Ky. – Team Valor and Denali Stud have formed what they termed a “strategic alliance” with provisions for Denali to consign all of Team Valor’s auction horses.Denali Stud owners Craig and Holly Bandoroff also are partners in owning Team Valor’s barn at the Fair Hill Training Center and have been involved in Team Valor partnerships in the past. Team Valor owner Barry Irwin said the international stable also would place its young horses and breeding stock with Denali.“Team Valor is trying to consolidate its business and deal with those horsemen with whom we have enjoyed the most success,” Irwin said, adding that the alliance with Denali was part of Team Valor’s evolution into some homebreeding. Team Valor mares currently at Denali’s Paris, Ky., farm include Pluck’s dam, Secret Heart. the Bandoroffs were in the Team Valor partnership that bred Pluck. The herd also features South Africa’s champion 3-year-old filly Captain’s Lover. Team Valor owns 14 U.S. broodmares, all of whom will now board at Denali.
