Threedeewoodee should be a force from the rail in the $356,980 Mountain Top Futurity for New Mexico-bred Quarter Horses on Saturday at Ruidoso Downs. The 350-yard race goes with a full field of 10. Threedeewoodee is arguably the most accomplished member of the field. He won his debut at Sunland on March 15 in a trial for the Grade 2 New Mexican Spring Futurity and came back to finish second by a half-length in the finale April 7. From there, Threedeewoodee romped by 2 3/4 lengths in his May 31 trial for the Mountain Top. Chris Zamora trains Threedeewoodee for Gary Thompson. The horse is to be ridden by Manuel Gutierrez. Kaydns Krusader is the only other starter in the field with stakes credentials, having run third in a Sunland stakes April 6.
