With an overflow of entries, Delaware Park decided to split the Rosenna Stakes into two divisions, but when Monday's races were rained off the turf, the number of actual runners in the Rosenna's two divisions wouldn't even have filled one race. Just five horses ran in the first Rosenna division, race 6, and five more in the second, race 8.\r\n\r\nMillion Seller, dismissed at 8-1 despite having made her last four starts on dirt, rallied from last to win the $50,000 first division by a neck for trainer Graham Motion and owner-breeder Masatake Iida. Well ridden by Jeremy Rose, Million Seller stuck to the rail most of the trip, with Rose finally angling out in midstretch to out-finish Checkpoint. Pacesetting All Night Labor held third, followed by Sea Wind and favored Tammy's Victress. The winner was timed in 1:44.38 for 1 1/16 miles, and paid $19.60 to win.\r\n\r\nRose also won the $50,000 second division with Stage Trick, but his job here was much easier. Stage Trick went straight to the lead, set a moderate pace, opened up into the stretch, and drew off late for a 5 1/4-length victory. Trained by Alan Goldberg for Richard Santulli, Stage Trick paid $5.20 as the favorite and went her 1 1/16 miles sixteenth in 1:44.22. Nicksappealinglady, a 17-1 shot, held off Haven's Honey for the place.
