Graded stakes winner Quantum Miss padded her resume with an easy victory over five other 3-year-old fillies in Tuesday’s $75,000 Trevose Stakes at Parx Racing. Ridden by Cornelio Velasquez for trainer Tony Dutrow, Quantum Miss ($3.20) was making her first start since taking the Grade 3 Cicada at Aqueduct a month ago. She is now 4 for 6 lifetime, including three stakes. Racing over a track downgraded to good, Quantum Miss led wire to wire, posting fractions of 21.74 and 44.50 seconds en route to covering the six furlongs in 1:10.62. Grand Kisses, a 30-1 longshot making her second start since she was claimed for $15,000 in February, made a mild bid to cut into Quantum Miss’s two-length advantage, but got no closer than the final margin of 1 1/2 lengths. Grand Kisses finished 3 1/2 lengths clear of Dream, the second choice at 2-1. Her third-place finished matched her performance when she faced Quantum Miss in the March 19 Cicada.
