OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Gotham Day wasn't just a big one for Hansen, it was huge business-wise for the New York Racing Association. All-sources handle for Aqueduct's 11-race card Saturday was $14,341,072, up 28.5 percent from the 2011 figure of $11,162,859. Aqueduct also ran 11 races last year. There were 100 betting interests on Saturday's card, compared with 90 in 2011. It is believed Hansen, who won the Gotham by three lengths, is the first 2-year-old champion to return the following year to race over Aqueduct's inner track. Saturday's card also included the Grade 3 Tom Fool, won by Calibrachoa, and the Grade 2 Top Flight, won by It's Tricky. Ontrack handle was $1,580,999, up 9.2 percent from last year's figure of $1,447,403. Attendance on Saturday was 8,244, up 16 percent from last year's crowd of 7,114.
