There things you should know before betting on Rangers-Panthers:

1. The Rangers and Panthers have already met this season, as New York earned a 4-3 win over Florida back on November 8. That game featured the Rangers having a 4-0 lead heading into the third period, but the Panthers ended up making it close. Still, New York was able to emerge with the win. The team is now 4-2 in its last six games against Florida, and the two losses were both by one goal. These teams have played each other extremely close over the years, but the Rangers have had the edge and it's somewhat surprising to see them as such big underdogs here.

2. This season, the Rangers are 10-2 when coming off home games, with the average score of those games having New York winning by 1.5 goals per game. Meanwhile, the Rangers are also 20-13 when coming off four or five losses in their previous six games since the start of the 2019-20 season, showing that New York generally figures things out when the going gets tough. With that in mind, look for the Rangers to bounce back in this game — especially with the team now having a much tougher and more experienced coaching staff and group of veterans.

3. The Panthers are third in the league in goals per game this season, and the Rangers have the offensive talent to score with anyone. There's a reason these teams combined to score seven goals the last time they played, and it wouldn't be all that shocking if they ended up hitting the Over again in this one. This season, the Over is 9-4 when the Panthers are playing at home in games with totals of 6 or more. The Over is also a ridiculous 12-0-1 in the last 13 meetings between these teams.
