Three things you should know before betting on Penguins-Oilers:

1. The road team has won in four of the last five meetings between the Penguins and Oilers, and Pittsburgh has come away with three points in 10 of the last 12 that these two have played against one another. The last time these two faced off was on December 20, 2019, when the Penguins came away with a 5-2 win at Rogers Place. Pittsburgh also won 3-2 in this building the last time the team played as an underdog in this head-to-head series.

2. This matchup features two generational players taking on one another, with the clash between Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid being worth the price of admission. However, despite McDavid being the better of the two players right now, Crosby is 6-0-1 in games against his younger foe. The Penguins have also lost two in a row coming into this game, but Pittsburgh is 15-8 when coming off back-to-back losses over the last three seasons. They're also 4-1 in their last five road games and happen to be facing an Oilers team with a depleted group of defensemen — Cody Ceci just joined Duncan Keith as one of the few members of this blueline that will miss this game.

3. Coming into this game, the Under is 6-2 in Pittsburgh's last eight contests and 3-2 over Edmonton's last five. The Under is also 5-2 in the last seven meetings between the Penguins and Oilers. On top of that, the Under is 8-3 when Pittsburgh is coming off a loss by one goal on the road over the last three seasons. It's also 10-6 when the Penguins are coming off an overtime loss in that span.
