Three things you should know before betting on Maple Leafs-Rangers:

1. The Rangers are playing extremely well coming into this game, but they could be in for a tough one against the Maple Leafs. Toronto earned a 2-1 victory the last time these two teams played one another, and the Leafs are one of the few teams that have more offensive talent than the Rangers right now. Sure, Artemi Panarin is one of the best players in hockey, but so is Toronto's Auston Matthews. And guys like William Nylander and John Tavares are also excellent players, while Morgan Rielly is the rare offensive-minded defenseman with the ability to match the production of Adam Fox.

2. Over the last two seasons, the Maple Leafs are 22-6 when coming off a road win. Toronto has won those games by an average margin of 1.7 goals per game, which is a pretty significant number. The Maple Leafs are also 29-10 after having won two of their last three games in that span. This is a team that generally gets hot and stays that way. Meanwhile, New York is just 2-10 in home games when coming off three or more consecutive Unders over the last three seasons.

3. The Maple Leafs and Rangers have met twice this season and both of those games went Under the total. In fact, the teams combined to score just three goals in each of those two games. The Under is also 5-1 in the last six meetings between these teams, and it's also 6-0-1 in New York's January games this year. If that's not enough, the Under is also 17-6 when the Rangers are coming off a win in their previous game this season.
