Three things you should know before betting on Maple Leafs-Coyotes:

1. The Maple Leafs are one of the best teams in the entire NHL, while the Coyotes are unquestionably one of the worst. However, that doesn't mean that Arizona isn't capable of making this a competitive game, and this is actually one of the instances in which it could be worth playing the puck line of Coyotes +1.5. The odds are actually paying out at plus money, which is rare for that type of play. The last time these two teams played was back on February 11, 2020, when the Leafs beat the Coyotes, 3-2. That would be a winning result on the puck line tonight, and it's not crazy to think Arizona has a shot here.

2. Last night, the Maple Leafs earned a 4-3 road victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in overtime. That was a remarkable win for a Toronto team that has now won five of its last six. However, the team could carry some tired legs into this game against the Coyotes, and it also wouldn't be all that surprising if the Maple Leafs suffer an emotional letdown here. The Golden Knights have one of the craziest home crowds in all of sports, which is far from the atmosphere the Leafs will be getting in Arizona. It might be hard for them to flip a switch and get up for this one. Toronto is just 11-17 when playing on back-to-back days over the last three seasons. Meanwhile, Arizona is 26-18 when coming off a home loss in that time.

3. The Under is 6-0 when the Coyotes are coming off back-to-back games in which they allowed at least four goals this season, and it's also 26-13 when Arizona is coming off back-to-back Overs in the last three years. Meanwhile, the Under is 24-12 when Toronto is playing in a road game after having won two of its last three games over the last two years. The average score of those Maple Leafs games had the two teams combining to score 5.6 goals per game, and the total on this one is set at 6.
