Three things you need to know before betting on Ravens-Browns:

1. The Ravens have gotten the best of this head-to-head series in recent seasons, going 10-2 straight-up and 9-3 against the spread over their past dozen meetings with the Browns. That includes a 4-0 record (both straight-up and against the spread) over the past two calendar years, with Baltimore winning the four games by an average margin of 14.8 points. Cleveland, which is coming off its bye, last played two Sundays ago as a 3-point road underdog in a 16-10 loss at Baltimore.

2. The Browns are 4-7 straight-up and 1-10 against the spread over their past 11 regular-season divisional games. Their 0-5 against-the-spread record over their past five divisional home games includes a pair of losses to the Ravens, 47-42 as a 3-point underdog last December, and 31-15 as a 9.5-point underdog two Decembers ago.

3. This has tended to be the time of year that Baltimore has stepped up its play in recent seasons, as quarterback Lamar Jackson is 13-2 straight-up and 11-4 against the spread in regular-season games played after the month of November. That includes records of 5-2 straight-up and 6-1 against the spread in road games, with the two straight-up road losses having been a 27-24 defeat as a 6.5-point underdog in Kansas City in Jackson’s second career road start in December 2018 and this past Sunday’s 20-19 loss as a 4-point favorite in Pittsburgh.
