Three things you need to know before betting on Packers-Bears:

1. Nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers has tormented plenty of NFL opponents throughout his career, but none more than the NFC North rival Bears. If you eliminate the November 2013 matchup in which Rodgers was lost for the game after suffering a broken collarbone when he was sacked on Green Bay’s opening series, the future Hall of Famer is 21-4 straight-up and 19-6 against the spread in his career when facing Chicago.

2. With their 25-22 overtime victory as a 2-point favorite at Cincinnati this past Sunday, the Packers improved to 15-5 straight-up and 16-4 against the spread in games prior to the midway point of an NFL season under current head coach Matt LaFleur, which includes an 8-2 record (both straight-up and against the spread) in road games under LaFleur over the first half of a season. Green Bay’s 35-16 victory as a 4-point road favorite at Chicago in the final game of the 2020 regular season improved the Packers’ record in division road games to 6-0 straight-up and 4-2 against the spread under LaFleur.

3. Six of the seven divisional games Green Bay has played since the start of last season have gone Over the total, as 50 or more total points have been scored in all seven games. The Packers have scored an average of 35.6 points over those seven divisional games while allowing an average of 23.6 points per game. Six of Chicago’s past eight divisional games have gone Over the total.
