Three things you need to know before betting on Browns-Steelers:

1. The Steelers are 10-8 straight-up and 11-4-3 as a home underdog under head coach Mike Tomlin. That includes records of 6-1 straight-up and 6-0-1 against the spread as a home underdog since the start of 2018, with the lone loss in that span having been a 26-23 defeat to Baltimore as a 3-point underdog in October 2019. Pittsburgh has been a home underdog five times since then and won all five games outright.

2. The Browns are 1-11 against the spread over their past nine regular-season divisional games. Since the start of December 2015, Cleveland is 4-15 straight-up and 5-13-1 against the spread in regular-season road games against AFC North opponents. Six of the Browns’ past eight divisional road games have gone Over the total.

3. Cleveland is one of only three NFL teams along with Philadelphia and Indianapolis that enters Week 17 averaging more than 140 rushing yards per game. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, enters Week 17 as the only NFL defense that’s allowing an average of more than 142 rushing yards per game. The Browns, however, are just 1-5 against the spread under head coach Kevin Stefanski when facing an opponent that allows an average of 130 or more rushing yards per game. Cleveland comes into this one having gone 0-7 against the spread when coming off a road loss under head coach Stefanski.
