Three things you need to know before betting on 49ers-Rams:

1. The Rams have been solid in divisional games in recent years, going 20-10 straight-up and 19-11 against the spread under head coach Sean McVay when facing an NFC West opponent. That includes records of 8-3 straight-up and 7-4 against the spread in divisional home games since the start of the 2018 season.

2. The 49ers beat the Rams 31-10 when these NFC West rivals met on a Monday night in Northern California in mid-November. Los Angeles, however, is 7-1 both straight-up and against the spread under head coach Sean McVay when avenging a same-season loss against an opponent. This marks the seventh time under McVay that the Rams will be attempting to avenge a loss by more than 20 points: All six of the previous games went Under the total with Los Angeles scoring an average of 23.5 points while allowing an average of 14.8 points per game.

3. The Under is 12-4 in games San Francisco has played under head coach Kyle Shanahan as a road underdog of 7 points or fewer, which includes a 6-1 mark for the Under as a road underdog of between 3.5 and 7 points. The Under is 11-3 in games the Rams have played as a home favorite of 7 points or fewer since the start of the 2019 season, and it’s 10-4 in that same timeframe when Los Angeles has played coming off a road win.
