Tonight’s slate of MLB games sees some late night games as the best bets of the evening. Let’s take a closer look as to why.

1.San Diego Padres Moneyline (-160)

The Padres face off against the Rockies tonight in Colorado, but are set to start one of their most impressive starters in Joe Musgrove (8-2, 2.09 ERA) here tonight. Chad Kuhn (6-5, 4.02 ERA) will get the start for San Diego. The Padres are 7-1 this season in road games as a favorite of -150. San Diego also boasts a 19-6 record against NL teams with a OBP of .315 or worse, which is a statistic that Colorado falls into. Musgrove’s prowess should be enough to take a road win tonight against Kris Bryant and company in Colorado.

2. Baltimore Orioles spread (+1.5, -170)

The Orioles streak of red hot baseball continues as they are in Chicago to face the Cubs. The Cubs are atrocious, and continuing to slide. Chicago is 10-31 in games after losing two or more home games in a row, a trend that certainly favors Baltimore heavily. Spenser Watkins (2-1, 4.15 ERA) is on the hill for the O’s while Justin Steele (3-5, 4.13 ERA) will start for the Cubs. The Orioles boast a nine game winning streak, while the Cubs are on a five game skid. Red hot vs Ice cold tonight, which is why Baltimore is a great pick.

3. Angels Spread (+1.5, -200)

While the Angels are outmatched tonight against the AL west leading Astros, they will most certainly have a chance tonight with Shohei Ohtani (8-4, 2.44 ERA) on the mound. Cristian Javier (6-4, 3.01 ERA) will get the start for Houston. The Angels have only seemed to be winning games when Ohtani is pitching and hitting well, which is exactly what he’s done in his past few outings. In his past five starts Ohtani has nine more hits than he has allowed while pitching. A phenomenal stat from a phenomenal player, banking on Shohei tonight is a smart move.
