Three things you need to know before betting on Purdue-Iowa:

1. Since the start of the 2015 season, Purdue is 4-1-1 against the spread in six meetings with Iowa. Last year, the Boilermakers earned a 24-20 victory over the Hawkeyes as 3.5-point home underdogs. This time around, head Jeff Brohm's team will be facing a whole different beast. Not only is Iowa a perfect 6-0 straight-up this season but the team is also 5-1 against the spread. The Hawkeyes are also coming off of an impressive comeback victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions, who were fourth in the nation at the time.

2. Over the last two seasons, Purdue is 0-6 against the spread when coming off a Big Ten game. The Boilermakers are also 0-6 against the spread when coming off an ATS loss in that time. On top of that, the Hawkeyes are 11-1 straight-up and 9-3 against the spread when coming off a win by three or fewer points under head coach Kirk Ferentz. Also, while Purdue is 10th in the nation in passing yards per game this season, Iowa is second in the country in passing yards per game allowed.

3. All five of Purdue's games this season have gone Under the total, and the Under is also 4-2 in Iowa's six games this year. This head-to-head series has also been relatively low scoring over the last few years, as the Under is 3-0-1 in the last four meetings between these teams. If that's not enough, the Under is also 14-5 in all Purdue games since Brohm became the head coach.
