Three things you need to know before betting on Kansas-Iowa State:

1. The last time Kansas earned a victory over Iowa State was back in 2014, and the Cyclones have covered in four of the past seven meetings between these teams. Last year, Matt Campbell's team went into Lawrence and won 52-22 as a 27.5-point road favorite. The Cyclones held the Jayhawks to only 73 yards on the ground and 167 through the air. Meanwhile, Iowa State rushed for 258 yards in the game. The Cyclones also threw for 294, giving them a total of 552 yards for the game.

2. Over the last two seasons, Kansas is 1-10-2 against the spread in all of its games. The Jayhawks are also 0-6 against the spread in the first half of the season in that span, and they now face a Cyclones team that is 25-10 against the spread after having allowed 125 or less rushing yards in back-to-back games since the start of 1992. If that's not enough, the Cyclones are also 10-3 against the spread after having lost two of its previous three games under Campbell.

3. The Under is 17-6-2 when Iowa State is coming off an Over under Campbell, and it's also 14-5-1 when the Cyclones play against teams that give up 425 or more yards per game in that span. The reason for the latter is likely because those are the types of poor defenses that allow Breece Hall to pick up chunks of yardage on the ground. That kills the clock and makes Under bettors very happy.
